I'm back home, settled in, and for the past week have finally started drawing this year's Halloween comic! Just how finished it will be by Halloween is questionable, but I do have a plan to make it easier.

In movie terms, this comic's "theatrical release" will be two pages. Pages 1 & 3 out of seven, specifically. Over the next week I'll be drawing page 3, which should leave plenty of time to get both inked & colored.

After those two pages are done, pages 4 & 5 will serve as a "director's cut", completing the story as I'd originally planned it however long ago.

Pages 2, 6, & 7 are optional bits that the story doesn't really need, but that I've added over the years to keep myself interested. If I still feel like they're worth doing, they can act as an "extended edition".

What I haven't decided yet, is whether the additional pages will get inked & colored, or left as sketches. I'm sort of "shaking the cobwebs off" after a rough couple/few years, there's a lot I want to catch up on, but I also need to be careful not to over-extend myself.
