Yo Bozavest I’ve got a question if you don’t mind answering if it’s not too personal: What inspired you to make After Dark?
I mean it’s kinda broad. I always had the idea to make a game where it dives into how different people cope with trauma. However i was inspired by a lot of other genre’s to actually commit to making the game what it is today.
I wanted to create a story where the characters feel like flawed people, rather than just surface-level figures that occurs in alot of these games. The decision to go more analog horror was just due to there not being a lot of genuinely scary avns out there. There are a few but most of them draw from Denpa horror more than anything.
In any case. I’m glad people seem to be enjoying what I’m doing and are eager for more :)

Honestly couldnt tell when I loaded it up for the first time it was nsfw, kept freaking me out in the beginning. Still amazing. I was personally going to stop playing this one until your latest update. That was a legit amazing update and you overhauling a lot of things really made me stick to it for the long run
Another question if you don’t mind: do you plan on leaving some things like the meaning of the horror scenes up to interpretation or do you plan on making them all feel more direct about how you should feel?
I just really love this game and like you’ve stated, I’m eager for more ❤️
