It's so crazy that people prefer sub over dub, dude I literally felt nothing in the deep sad parts in sub, but with dub you actually feel what they are saying because you understand it, sub is just subtitles man, please just do dub. The sub kids are annoying too please it would piss them off

I think some genuinely want to appreciate it in its most authentic form but there’s some that can when imagining voices and how it’s said they create there own vibe but dub really lets you appreciate the scenes and especially for this one it’s one of the best emotion driven dub there’s plenty in dub that makes you naturally tear up

Watch whatever you are most comfortable with my dude! My main issue with people pushing sub onto new anime watchers is that people who arent used to reading and watching at the same time might not catch a lot of the important details attack on titan has to offer. And there are a LOT. Many that require a second watchthrough to really appreciate. And also as someone who has watched both multiple times and recently, dub translates some of the jokes better for new anime watchers who arent used to anime humor. But if you cant stand the voices of dub then ofc sub is going to give you a better watch experience and hell, both are phenomenal so who cares. I find it really annoying when people put their own opinions over other people's own watch experience. If they want to watch dub then let them and respect it. Same to people who want to watch sub. Purists piss me off. Both are great for different reasons but I wish more people would just do what suits their own experience best and not let the pressure get to them. Thanks for doing the split for us dude and I hope you have a great time watching it the way that is best for you.

No it's just because i don't feel the emotion in their voices because i dont know japanese so i dont understand some tones or if they are being sarcastic like in english there are specific tones for that kind of stuff

Ight finished the reaction! what I will say my guy is that you are very close to things and that's awesome!! if things are confusing its because it's intentional. Also for the whole sub vs dub thing I'mma keep it short and sweet. Watch whichever you prefer, it doesn't fucking matter we still get it the same way, the show doesn't change completely just because of this. Everyone will love it the same sub or dub so honestly everyone it's not that big of a deal please.

lmao, don't worry too much about the sub/dub rivalry - it's been around for ages, and I've been on the sub side the whole time. I can be a jerk when it comes to this when the English dubs suck too much, but in the end it usually doesn't matter, if the localization team doesn't change a bunch of shit, or the actors don't change all the personalities. So far, I have not noticed TOO much... Just have fun, that's all that is needed. If you know both versions, you won't like the English, but if you like the English, you won't have watched (and heard) both versions either... is what I tell some people. I let them figure it out from there. Neither is that bad- but the English team don't really hit the intensity the Japanese do. That's the way it's always been, as far back as I can remember. Some folks won't care. Some totally will, especially if they discover the intensity of the original/intended version.

Your description here cracked me up for sure. I get it. All of it. Those sub vs. dub debates become intense, hahaha. It's alright tho - it's worth it. If they want people to be more accepting of the dubs - they will demand more quality.
