The lack of sunlight leading to leg issues is relatively medically sound. Without access to sunlight, most people in the underground will have severe vitamin D deficiencies. Vitamin D defficiencies have many effects, but leg issues are common because the deficiency weakens proximal muscles the most. Issues with gait, pain when walking, leg muscle weakness, nerve damage and severe mobility issues are symptoms that are well documented with Vitamin D deficiencies, and malnutrition aswell, which is also something the people of the underground likely faced. Historically (18th and 19th century), issues like this were common with children in badly polluted cities where they barely got any sunlight. I think it's super cool how much thought and research went into even the smallest bits of the show!

They changed some of Erwin's speech from the manga. I won't repeat the entire thing here but he redirects Levi's anger and frustration at the titans rather than himself. Here he doesn't really blame anyone as these actions aren't his fault since no one can predict what the exact outcome will be. I think the second fits with the no regrets in a way too.

For the record, the Survey Corps is the Scouts. It's just a stupid translation difference due to different teams or people working on it or sometimes lack of attention span and probably using some auto-translation tool. This stuff isn't given the best budget, unfortunately, for localization, and they won't be very consistent if anything changes. Sometimes at least. Survey Corp = Scouts Aberrant = Abnormal Zhiganshina = Shiganshina And I'm sure there's more I don't recall. I know there is. It'll switch back in S3, if I'm not mistaken. It's a little annoying, but the meaning is the same, like aberrant / abnormal, and Survey corps / Scouts. They basically mean the same things. It's just... some of them are cooler sounding than the others. The "scouts' thing - not a huge fan of. It just isn't nearly as cool, and it's way more generic, than "Survey Corps"

Hi, I'm in medicine! We need sunlight to help us produce vitamin D. Traditionally (aka if you don't take supplemental vitamin D) most of it will come from UV exposure rather than diet. This is why a lot of people have low levels of vitamind D in the winter. Vitamind D helps calcium fix in your bones. If you don't have vitamin D, that means you will have brittle bones that get fractured easily, they may even lose their straight shape and get bowed. Especially if you have a lack of vitamin D since childhood - as most people in the ground have never seen bthe sun properly - you get bowed legs and all sorta of bone problems. So yes, it's all true! Also - this is one factor of why levi is so short. Being underfed as a child and a lack of vitamin D.

Levi didn't get "subdued physically"...Remember what Lovof told him : he had to "put out a bit of a fight" to impress Erwin during the chase, so he would get recruited. It was all part of the plan. And at the end there, he didn't even really try - he was just upset about the deaths of his friends. There's no way Erwin could ever beat Levi in a fight, if they really tried it out haha Also, he wasn't going to marry Petra - it's hinted Petra had a crush on him, or at the very least was really admirative, and so when she wrote to her dad, he mistakenly thought she was in love with Levi and he was worried they were going to marry lol.

imo the only other ova that's worth it is isle's notebook, that one provides interesting info that adds to the lore. lost girls is not bad and provides a totally different perspective, but it doesn't top no regrets (none of the ovas do tbh). the rest are mostly fillerish episodes that are just the characters messing around. there's one that's like the 104th group during training that's kind of a fun watch, but yea that's it. you should def watch isle's notebook tho
