Godddddddd this season is starting off insane

So it seems like humans are gonna be the new enemy for this season. Season 1, we fought the Titans. Season 2, we fought the humans inside the Titans, and now season 3, we're fighting the fucking humans themselves. Insane. I have no idea where the show is going at this point, but I love being along for the ride.

I only released two episodes because I did the OVAs today, I WILL STILL be releasing four episodes at a time starting on the next drop!!! That way the season ends cleanly at episode 22 :D

Random detail they cut for some reason. Eren transformed 3 times in hange’s experiment. In the first it was normal and he used the Titan to build a castle from sticks. In the second he went berserk and broke it down. In the third he ended up how you saw him in the show.

I would reccomend watching the outros for each new outro (for example in each video, just how you watch the intro once at the start, watch the outro once at the end). They are great and add a lot of atmosphere. But in s3 ep12 (ep49) there is also a really cool surprise variant that adds a lot of anticipation for the second half of the season. Also attack on titan is one of the only two shows (that i know of) to do something like this, so it will definetly be worth checking out!

It's too bad this Intro/Outro aren't as good as usual. The songs just don't fit. I'm not a big fan of those. While it does give a bit of an unsettling feeling because you've already seen 2 seasons, it's just not as intense and doesn't hype you up. It makes you feel almost more depresesd. It SHOULD be making you more eager to see what the hell is going to happen in this crazy anime - and it doesn't really go there. I'm really not a fan if this intro - and not a big fan of the outro either.

I have one for you after all this - if you like the awesome animation - check out "Demon Slayer" - it's relatively new, but it's some badass shit. The story is wild too, for the record. Excellent characters as well. You won't regret it. I enjoyed the shit out of it, at least.

The animation will be even better if you watch in a higher resolution/bitrate. What you've been watching for a bit now looks like sweaty balls. That animation is several times better if you watch in a higher quality. I don't believe it's my internet, unless it's some patreon thing. I don't really use patreon that often, so I don't know if they have "problems" - but I do recommend watching in the highest resolution you can.

Ah... you'll find out what happened to Marco before long. It's kind of awful, as I'm sure you've already concluded.. . Poor guy. That's sort of a big emotional weight on some characters. I won't say more tho, I would never spoil this stuff. I genuinely love this anime. Everyone should get the virgin experience. Marco is still alive, in our hearts.

Love your thought process and theories. And I appreciate you taking your time pausing/rewinding scenes to make sure you undertand (or at least try to while most people just give up). The show is intentionally confusing esp for first time watch or unless you know some key moments that'll happen in the future seasons, and ig that's why it's fun rewatching this show over and over.

Best part is, this shit gets way crazier. So much crazier. Just wait til you see Levi do his things. That sumbitch is wild... You can't imagine it getting crazier - but it definitely can and will. It's fucking awesome tbh. All I will say, past that (again) that Levi is a fucking badass, and Erwin is a chad. I'm willing to say nothing more.

its different but i do really like the s3 intro and it kinda makes me tear up. the emphasis on the growth between their childhood and current selves, getting to see flashes of young Eren with his parents etc... thinking about how everything really did start off so soft and simple and innocent and how THAT feels weird because of how quickly it's stripped away and this universe really doesn't leave us with a lot of hope afterward.

I doubt it was intentional but both this and AOT were airing around the same-ish time and I couldnt help but feel like Vinland Saga makes a great companion piece to AOT. It's kinda one of those things that keeps people from getting into anime honestly - but once you start to get it you kinda get the pacing and catch onto the style of storytelling in a particular one, and you might just become an anime crackhead. I don't mean that in a bad way either - some anime are a little different, but you instinctively notice the patterns. Honestly, I love it, when there's a good one. I never would have realized I was a weeb if I hadn't. I have "no regrets". Heard that somewhere.
