the first theory is cool but realistically it doesnt work, in aot there is one closed timeline things that happen are set in stone for example eren manipulating grisha always happend there isnt a instance where that didnt happen so the same goes for ymir taking the spear she couldnt have changed that event that would require a different timeline which doesnt match AOT

One anime that I feel has this level of "hidden hints" everywhere is Steins Gate. Another masterpiece. With TV shows, 12 Monkeys. Most people know about Dark, but few know about 12 Monkeys, which is like a better Dark. It is 4 seasons of absolute perfection. And similar to AOT, the ending just ties everything together in a perfect way. 11/10. I've watched the show 5 times and still find things in the rewatch. It's really amazing.

i think the theory has a really good chance of being partially true, something to note is that eren didnt have both the full power of the founder and attack titan naturally; ymir did. eren had to use zeke to draw out that power, a power ymir allowed eren to use. at the end of the movie while talking to mikasa, ymir is shown in human form and not her form depicted in the paths and in flashbacks; if you also notice, the big ass worm thing (not looking up how to spell it sorry) kinda just disappeared after eren died. while i dont believe the timeline changed right then and there (due to the credits scene of the tree), i personally think that when the kid found the tree at the end he triggered a reset by touching the big ass worm like ymir did in her flashback (that was no longer attached to the power of the titans, but still had the power of Life. or something i dunno LOL) and brought us to the post credits scene with eren mikasa and armin in a seemingly normal setting. i think its entirely possible that the worm can grant more than just the power of the titans, or alternatively uses the same powers of the titans but manifesting in different ways. ymir likely took the form of a titan because she viewed that kind of power as larger than life. she was the one who sculpted the titans!! that was all from her mind. i dont know if i explained my personal theory properly but i dont wanna give too much yap HAHAHA, that theory has been sitting in my mind for a good year or two now. id def watch you rewatching aot HAHA idc if its farming, especially if you enjoy it! i geniunely think aot has the most foreshadowing ive ever seen in a show, the level of details hidden that i still havent caught after watching the series 3x over is insane. also, that clayface movie does look pretty good. would love to see you react to more one off movies, a few released this year (obsession, backrooms) that i feel you would like! really big fan of how you dissect as you watch, those movies would probably pull you in due to that. (both made by youtubers too!!! i saw obsession in theaters w/out knowing literally anything about it, not even having seen a trailer and i was blown away. probably my favorite movie of the year.)

To the question of what show is on the level of AOT, the only correct answer is none of them. the only problem with AOT is that after watching it, nothing compares. I've seen at least 200 anime and none are on the same level, some close, but they all don't make it AND have their flaws. Vinland saga is close but still isn't AOT. nothing is.

Re zero has this much detail in it. The light novel is still releasing but in a chapter a while ago we found out information/forshadowing that was from ep 1 of the anime that you’ll probably brush off as nothing and they’re are a lot more details in it

Just remember many of us will always love to see ANYTHING aot from u even if u decide to react to ur own reactions lmao. Ngl I would be so happy if u eventually made vids rewatching it no matter how u go about it. There's much more foreshadowing details, no single video is gonna have em all ofc. So content idea: set smth up like a disc channel or smth where we can put all other details the vid didn't cover, maybe during a stream? That'd be sick n sm fun. I noticed a my favorite detail recently (haven't seen many ppl talking about either) I'd need to show the images for it to make sense tho. The theories that can be made off this detail alone gets me hyped bc then the ending wouldn't be so depressing. Also Aot jr is a parody, I liked it u might too. If u do watch it n want more like it, there's "Aot Chibi Special" pretty similar.

I’m really glad you watched that first video, I think it’s a really interesting theory.. personally I believe it. I think it actually makes perfect sense and is the only actual explanation for them to show that scene of her not taking the spear at the very end. There is a part in the show when Eren is talking to Armin (when he visits him in secret) , he says that Ymir chose mikasa for some purpose and that only Ymir knew what that was. I think he was directly referencing that Ymir chose Mikasa to be the one to show her that she could form the strength to let the one she loved die. The fact that they show the alternate universe where Eren and Mikasa run away, also confirms it for me, since they are showing that the possibilities of one decision can essentially create a pocket dimension within that outcome. I think they are hinting at that being the reality of the entire story, Ymir’s decision to take the spear set forth the entire show, what we saw in turn never happened and was simply another pocket dimension in which she took the spear when in reality she only viewed that outcome (through memories of the future with the attack titans power) in order to make the right decision in the end.

I commented this in another video but still don't know if you're aware that pure titans eat humans because there's the slimmest chance they'll eat someone who's a titan shifter that'll turn THEM back into human, like what happened with Ymir. That blew my mind! Please do watch the OVAs. You said you like Annie & Mikasa (same) so theirs would be great ones to watch. I've never seen GOT, maybe I should react 😂 I did the same as you with DARK, watched 10 mins then backed out. Then I started watching it properly and couldn't stop, it's soooo good. After some extensive research of the shows I watched, here's my list of deep anime and the reasons I think they're deep: -Bleach (extensive worldbuilding, the writer expands on the past, and almost every character gets to shine and that's a feat considering how many characters there are); -Gundam Franchise (explores what would happen if humanity started living in space, relationship and politics between people living in space and on earth, deep dive into war, and this isn't deep but features mega awesome mecha fights); -Sword Art Online (explores a few questions about VR and existence that would be too spoliery to reveal to you); -86 (a dark mecha anime and very much deep, that's all I'm gonna say about this one, very well worth watching); -Demon Slayer (I wouldn't say very deep plot wise, but you do develop a deep connection to the characters, it does shine in its own way); -Evangelion (yeah I'm a mecha nerd, sue me, this I haven't watched in decades but I remember it being very deep, couldn't tell you the reason though, a lot of mecha anime tend to be deep, especially real robot anime, super robot anime less so).

here is one thing that you might missed, I'm not sure if someone mentioned it in the comments but the last post credit scene where you see a person and the dog walking to the tree, you can see them as titans in the movie ( timestamp: 1:33:10 ). my theory is that ymir never actually had peace when she disappear Infront of mikasa but put in a state of coma(which in sense a peaceful time for her like the main characters) until the next titan shifter appeared she got awoken again to serve. So many theories and all of them can be correct.

It likely wouldn't even result in titans, I feel like most people miss that ymir got the power she desired and gave herself a body to fight back. The tree answered her wish and the final unknown character wouldn't have a need for titans but maybe something like the ability to survive as an example, like live without pain hunger or aging. Something akin to what we saw as possible with the shifters but not necessarily resulting in Kaiju sized monsters

Attack on Titan in 9 minutes is meant to be watched after the first season. It's not as funny after you watch the full season because you already know what happens to these characters. I guess YouTubers don't watch it in sequence because they are afraid of spoilers not realizing it's only about season 1. I watched it right after season 1 and it was spot on, and absolutely hilarious!

One thing to point out: Crunchyroll is the TV version so some scenes were cut in the earlier seasons. When Jean is about to be eaten by a titan, it cuts to him landed on a building. On the Blue ray release, you see when Annie lands on the titan and lets Jean get away. Which is why Reiner asks her later, "why did you save Jean?" Anime that have good foreshadowing: Full Metal Alchemist: brotherhood. HOWEVER I know people will push back on this, but, watch the first 25 episodes of the original full metal alchemist (without brotherhood in the title) and THEN watch brotherhood from where episode 25 ends in the original on. I say this because Brotherhood assumes youve seen this, and cuts down a ton of character building for someone, really, REALLY important and a few other scenes that really develop everyone better than brotherhood does in those first, I think, 12 episodes. the impact is much bigger. Brotherhood will follow the manga to the T from there. Future Diary kind of has good foreshadowing but its...well, you'll see. The LN adaptations of Fate Stay Night. IN NO ORDER Thats: Fate Zero, Fate Unlimited Blade Works, Fate Heaven's Feel and the Deen Fate Stay Night (Different animation quality) Fruits Basket is a drama that has tons of foreshadowing a beautiful story that will hurt your heart forever but in the most beautiful of ways. Madoka Magica, technically. and I'll stop there lol

in terms of stories w great foreshadowing, genuinely one piece. im not saying that as a recommendation tho bc i know thats a lot and i dont even rlly know if you’d enjoy it cause it can be rlly goofy + fan service (esp in the anime) is fucking awful in the later episodes but also it’s pretty funny, has amazing world building, amazing fucking characters that you will grow incredibly attached to, rlly emotional, and then ofc the great foreshadowing. but yk it’s literally over 1000 episodes/chapters so it’s a slow burn which works for some ppl and not for others. don’t rlly recommend it for you i don’t think, but ig i just wanted to give credit to my fav series

this isnt a suggestion for you to watch now or any time soon, but if you want a show with lots of foreshadowing, hidden easter eggs, darker themes, and likeable characters, One Piece is literally that. The current anime is terribly paced and tbh i dont blame people for not wanting to watch it, especially the early seasons. But its being reanimated from the beginning by a different studio and its supposed to follow the manga more precisely with better pacing and when that releases, i think you should give it a shot. im not even asking for reactions on it, i just think you would genuinely like it as a casual watch especially as it gets deeper into the series and you start to see how things connect.

IMO: Rewatch with us because watch 2 is its own experience Korotos Mystery Shack videos and react to those If you were gonna react to reaction videos, please do your own. No one else's are this good. And you'll enjoy poking fun at yourself. I mentioned the game in another post, but I'll mention it again because the game is you as a nameless hero being part of the story. It's sick. I actually played the game and THEN watched the anime/read the manga. Also Dark is really awesome to watch after this for reasons I cant mention without spoilers. But it would be good to watch it as fresh off AoT as you can. And hopefully someday Lain (only 13 episodes but a very complex and layered story)

Bingo. The Source of All Life doesn't specifically hold the Power of the Titans, but a greater power of allowing it to create and control all kinds of things. The Titans are what Ymir used that power for because of the situation she was in, but the kid at the end will most likely use it to create something else entirely

I really enjoyed Nicholas light, haylo and kiss, and studio gek reactions to attack on titan. Nick is really funny, haylo and kiss are both observant and get emotional which is nice to experience vicariously, and studio gek transitioned two of the hosts from haters to fans, so much so they showed their girlfriends and sister I think and filmed that as a rewatch reaction also

I THINK the praying mantis thing wasn't foreshadowing the ending on purpose. In season 1 when mikasa's powers awaken she remembers seeing a praying mantis eat a butterfly and that was like a big deal for her or something

fujiyoshi is an anime pop culture term that refers to women who ship men as gay couples in anime and obsess over pairings and create nsfw art/doujinshi/fanfic or just read them. It's not just an aot thing. You'll frequently find this trope in many anime if you watch enough of them. Mainly the slice of life/romcom kind though, which you probably haven't watched yet.

After experiencing trama from a unhealthy relationship and becoming codependent/addicted to a man (I never thought this was even possible, and there were other complex factors..manipulation exct..I never understood why women wouldn't just leave their abuser, until i experienced it..Love is such a powerful emotion and so dangerous when it gets twisted )the significance of Mikasa killing erran even tho she loves him, and Ymir who loved someone who hurt her so bad finally bring set free, means soo much....(no longer in that relationship and am healing)

Personally my favorite piece of foreshadowing is from season 2, when they're at the castle and Ymir has just revealed that she's a titan. Historia is cheering her on while Reiner and Bertholdt seem to be freaking out a bit (understandably, the situation is crazy). Anyway, you can clearly see Bertholdt holding his hand near his open mouth like he's preparing to bite it in case he needs to transform. Just one more of those things that flies over your head the first you see it, but feels obvious in hindsight.

Aot is one of a kind and tbh ive never found another anime like it, there are lots of good ones out there but when it comes to the madness/creativity of one man its pretty rare, id say neon genesis Evangelion is a very insane anime coming from one very disturbed depressed man about human existential crisis and evolution as a species also promised neverland is just an insane story about innocent children kinda recreates the horror/shock value of this show

that's not true, there are plenty shows almost as good or as good, and some even better, but each show operates on a different dimension of things for example Higurashi, Steins; Gate, Re: Zero (still ongoing), Overlord, etc. AOT occupies it's own place, where nothing comes close, but it's because most other animes have other concerns regarding what they want to represent, and many are unbeaten at that in their own domains the dimension of friendship and freedom with Higurashi the problems with the desire of power and absolute control, and the bonds of love through time with Steins; Gate how love can make one strong, and the importance of believing in those who are on your side with Re: Zero the consequences of omnipotent power and what happens if you let go of morality on Overlord (even if Overlord is not as moralizing, it's there more because I like it) there are not many shows that are great like that, but the ones who are in this list are really good

A bit late to the party but the part about Ymir controlling the future (because of the Attack Titan being part of her) doesn't work. It's even weirder than the creator of the video made it seem. Let me explain. First: The Attack Titan does not control or influence future Titans but the past ones. Secondly, and weirder than the video creator's theory: Eren was arguably the one that controlled/influenced ALL past Titans due to the nature of the Attack Titan's powers. And Eren was the primary force behind EVERYTHING because he was, as far as we know and have seen, the last Attack Titan - The only ones that could have controlled him, would be future Attack Titans.

Gotta say, compared to me you were gigabrain watching this show. I was too impatient and went full no pause on this anime and gabe myself 0 time to think. But you got some shit right away, i barely understood when all was done. Like you instantly called the memories of the future and time shenanigans when we got the first Grisha retrospective woth Kruger on the wall. Its been a blast and it would be worth at least watching you react to yourself reacting to the big moments troughout tge show. S2E6 would be so funny. I think first time around you completely missed Reiner saying they destroyed the wall 5 years ago xD.

Man there are so many more thing you kissed just from Erwin in S1 and S2. For example why he askedEren, "Who is the real enemy?" or why at the beginning of season 2 all the new scout recruits werent allowed 3d Manouver. Or why he made hist speech for joining the scouts so bleak. Did you catg not just that, but also why Erwin gave everyone sifferent positions for where Eren was in the formation? Like S3 Erwin is peak Loud frontline Leader Erwin. S1 and S2 Erwin is gigabrain planner and trapmaster.

But actually, now that you're done with the reactions, could you also react to the s4 openings and endings? Even all of them, but those ones hold more to the story and there's a lot to be said with Eren's character too. Matter of fact, the first ending and last ending have a hidden message between Eren and Mikasa, and there's already great storytelling with the other intros and outros. I really hope you get to react to them soon.

An other forshadowing that pretty much on the nose ( though i don't remember in which episode it was ) but only could be picked on after at least a rewatch is that, back when they were still in training during Eren's recounting of shinganshina's fall, right at the moment he mentionned the armored titan it pans to Reiner.
