It seems we’re getting to the end Mira’s story in this page, fittingly ending with Luna evolving to her current deer form we recognize the most. There are still some things left unexplained such as the creation of the elemental gods, as well the beginning of the chaos’ rise to power in the current world and how Rah’Jan came to be, but I suppose those are a few mysteries that’ll have to wait for a another time. For now, it seems that story has really gotten Lily’s imagination soaring based on the look on her face in the second panel and her deep stare into the moon in the last. She’ll probably want to meet Luna as soon as possible now. Though, the real question now is how many seconds do we have until Nigel starts to yell out “BULLSH*T” towards the story that Mira just finished and starts to come up with ludicrous conspiracy theories as to question and discredit the whole thing, which, again, could hold more truth than even he suspects depending on what we find out about the old world and how it really ended, in particular, or even more about Luna herself and how she’s somehow connected to Rah’Jan, but for now we’ll just have to assume everything he has to say here will just be dumb excuses and utter nonsense to further feed his own hatred of the Tree of Life. Here’s hoping Lily isn’t the kind of child that would allow herself to be so easily influenced by someone like that.
