Did she just throw her wine glass at Cornelia!? Ivy, what the f*ck is wrong with you!? Again, she is very lucky that Cornelia happens to be family and has good control over her emotions, because that right there would’ve been a triggering point for a one-way trip to the emergency room. Also, hot damn, Cornelia must be built like a tank for that glass to just bounce off her shoulder like it was just a pebble and the fact that she didn’t seem to flinch tells me she must’ve had stuff thrown at her a billion times before, and what Ivy had at her disposal at that point was practically nothing in comparison. Ah, yes, of course, that moment you realize you’re not winning the argument you’re in, so instead of admitting defeat and that you were wrong, you ultimately choose to throw whatever random sh*t you had on hand at the moment towards the opposing party of the argument and storm out of the room like a pouty bitch, acting as if you made your point but instead just showed everyone in the room just the type of person you are. Also, is that a tear I see Ivy shedding as she’s storming through the hall? If it is, than perhaps her behavior so far is the result of her not wanting to show what she considers weakness towards her family, which came at the cost of making herself look like a complete hypocritical asswipe by listening to own overinflated ego and self-pride instead of being honest with her family and herself, potentially damaging her relationship with Zaphira, especially with that stunt she pulled back there. Ivy, at this point, needs to be humbled and be shown the error of her ways before it’s too late, and whether she likes it or not, Shen, the very same former slave she disapproved on Zaphira marrying, could very well be the guy to do it.
