What characters have died in your media? Other than Gloria (maybe? Idk). Sorry im drawing a blank.

Shen's reaction says everything 😄

1. It's always hard when you drink too much you get the munchies. 2. No comment. 3. Shen likes! 4. Good, seeing different characters interact with each other is a great way to make new stories.

That explanation regarding Crossover County makes it even better to me. I’ve never killed any of my characters, but that’s pretty much because I’ve only written slice-of-life stuff so far. I eventually plan to dip my toes into fantasy (light and dark), adventure, and even black comedy, but I dread the day I’ll have to kill off a character for the sake of the story. Maybe I should develop something similar to your Crossover County when I finally take that next step.

Not everyone has to be horny when they get naughty Violet XD

Shen continues to be a man of peak culture

Jem

Shen knows there's nothing more sexy than t-shirt and panties

StumpedMoose

1) I think you should've know the answer to that one, Violet. 2) The world is her oyster.🙃 3) Oversized t-shirts are in fact cute. Sooooo jelly of Shen!🫠 4) I'm just glad you're not going for shock value when you kill off any major characters. I've read so many stories where the author tends to kill off so many characters at a successive rate that at some point it becomes weightless.

Oversized shirts for the win, they make everyone look hot 🔥

I kind of like it when comic authors/artist have their characters as "paid actors" or similar. Lets you get back with characters and do things with them after they "died", even if they never go back to their original setting.

okay 4th panel; ngl, I wish other comic authors I knew were more like you when it came to addressing hard choices they make for their stories. Then again when the worst sledgehammer hit in one fav story of mine I follow, I just about lost it ;~; So that's kinda on me

1. I guess in hindsight, we probably should’ve figured getting insanely drunk would just lead to Jade getting even more hungry than she already would be when sober. Some people are just more likely to get the munchies rather than become super horny for whatever action they could get that night. 2. I feel like Ana taking a piss somewhere where she’s not supposed to is meant to have a lot of questions, but I think that can just be easily explained as simply as, “She got stupidly drunk one night and either urinated on impulse without realizing until after the fact or just said ‘f*ck it’ and did it after seeing how far away the nearest bathroom was.” 😒 Also, on the topic of that happening on Ana’s ship, it would be nice if we could see what it looks like sometime if you’re willing, Zummeng. That’s ultimately up to you though. 3. Sometimes men like Shen just want the simplest pleasures in life. And other times, there is no better pleasure in life than seeing your beautiful wife wearing nothing but an oversized t-shirt that may or may not be see-through if you got it wet. 😏 Truly a man of culture if I ever saw one. 4. It takes a real author to know when it’s time to bring your characters through the wringer or even bring about their demise for the sake of either the story or the development of other characters, no matter how much it hurts the author themselves to do it. It’s good to know you don’t take the aspect of character death/farewell lightly Zummeng, especially with how painfully easy it is to screw it up and cause that kind of development to feel cheap, forced, manufactured, rushed or even give off a feeling of filling up a checklist in the grand scheme of things. That kind of event in a story needs to be properly built up and feel earned and not done so willy-nilly in a near constant rate, so that way the audience will actually feel something when it happens, arguably the most out any other kinds of events that can happen in the plot. On the topic of Crossover County, it is nice to have that so that we can have more moments with our favorite characters that don’t have a role in their respective stories and worlds anymore, and to see how they would interact with characters from other stories that they’re not from. To criticize you slightly though, I do wish you would do Crossover County comics a bit more often if possible, just so we can have those moments specifically with characters you just seem to only barely touch anymore, if at all. I understand you have a schedule you have to upkeep and the lack of attention said characters get from you is not out of malice or lack of care for them, but it still would be nice. Now personally speaking, if I was a writer and I wanted to show more of my characters that I otherwise wrapped the story of and/or killed off, I feel like I would less so put them in something like Crossover County and more so do either prequel stories or what-if scenarios with them, assuming there’s more to explore with them. You know, as in show them in a point of their lives prior to their demise and show events that lead them to be the people they are or show them in scenarios that could’ve happened if so and so happened differently or if they decided to do this or that instead of what they chose in canon and see what kind of path their lives could’ve taken them from there. But that’s just me. They’re your characters, Zummeng, so do with them as you like. I’m sure we’ll enjoy whatever you do with them either way.
