05.02.2026 UPDATE: Updated for the 1.121 patch. REMOVE the main module and script and redownload the mod by the link for the 1.121 patch! You should have the 1.2 version for the main mod and the script. You can keep the secrets add-on, it doesn't require the update

30.12.2025 UPDATE: Fixed the buff for pretending at school appearing when it shouldn't be and added the French translation (thanks, Hope!).. Remove old version and make sure you only have 1.1.2 version in the Mods folder

19.11.2025 UPDATE: Fixed unique buffs appearing on sims being not twins. Remove old version and make sure you only have 1.1.1 version in the Mods folder

What's it incompatible with? That doesn't help me at all. I don't have these display problems with version 1.0.

I already told you, you can't have three visible relationship tracks in the game. Friends and Twins Satisfaction make romance track impossible to display correctly. You didn't have this issue on the 1.0 version because there wasn't any custom relationship track as I described in the update post. Also consider to talk with me more politely, I'm here to help, not to answer to passive agressive questions

I don't know what your problem is; I wasn't aggressive at any point. I have enough experience with this to know that! I don't have a third relationship track in the game. It's just that my twins are also romantically in love. Is that now detrimental to the visuals with your mod?

I am having a similar issue! I'm getting a LastUIException because my twins show the same panel. I wasn't sure if it was Weerbesu's UI Cheats Extension may not be compatible with the Twins 1.1 mod.

Just tested without the Twins 1.1 and kept UI Cheats Extension and my twins' UI returned to normal and no longer in love. Weerbesu's UI Cheats is not compatible with the mod if you have it @feensims

Omg I'm so exited I just became a payed suporter and member because I absolutely love this mod. If my twin sims had conversations one always said "but I'm your older brother". Now he can be the oldest. I love how they share twin secrets and how their bond is better because of this mod.

Not completely true! I have UI Cheats and just installed this mod, and my twins don't have any bugged relationship bars. They are also not in a romantic relationship. As Mari already said, this mod adds a custom relationship bar, and the UI simply cannot display more than two of those. So if you want to solve this issue either remove the romance between your twins or remove their twin status/don't use the mod. I wonder though if it might be possible to add a version of this mod without the custom relationship, for people who want to use all the other twin features and just are having UI issues with that part. I personally would prefer a version without it, even though I'm not having issues.

Unfortunately, I have the similar problem with this mod as with the Town Preferences. Town Preferences: had infinite load screen in cas, where cas music played over game music. Removed it a while ago before trying Twins, problem fixed. Twins: had infinite load screen while traveling between lots. Heard the sound effect indicating that load should finish soon, but it continues for the infinite time. Didn't try loading in cas, maybe its the same issue. After removing the mod problem fixed. I don't know if its only my problem with Twins, but I've read some comments with the same isuue about Town Preferences in Origamika.

The game is not quite stable now and that's why you can have this issue in almost any circumstances. None of these mods can cause infinite load screen

At least, you should test if you have issues with only this mod and its requirements. If it's fine, check out other mods. Otherwise, something is wrong in the save

I started encounter this issue in the beginning of November firstly, not now. I don't know for sure what the problem is, but, as I said, removing these mods solved it immediately, and I didn't add any other new mods besides them.

After which update? I didn't check it on the 1.120 patch yet, but it's compatible with the 1.119

That's because it's the game issue, and it starts to occur again even without any mods after some time. It's confirmed on the EA forums

Yeah, seems like you are right. I was confused because earlier (late october-november) I had this issue rarely and somehow removing this mods helped. But after the December update the game started to act totally weird, and now I can't load in my save at all even without any mods. Sorry for the misunderstading :(

Hi! The mod considers the age progress, not the age stage. Though, if, for some reason, the game thinks they have the same age progress and they're siblings with the same parents, the mod will assign them the twins status. In this case just use the cheat on the teen to remove it

Finally, they're twins instead of just brothers! Your mod is fantastic! But I'd like to ask why the UI is malfunctioning during gameplay. The relationship bar doesn't display the twins' relationship correctly, and sometimes when twins ask others about their relationship with the other, there are three status bars.

Hi, the issue may occur if you have enabled the romance bar between the relatives because this mod uses a space for that bar. In other cases no issues do occur. If you're not sure what exactly causes it, make 50/50

Hi, you can get the error only if you're on the 1.121 version and installed the old version of the mod or vice versa. Which version you have? Did you delete all files before installing the new version?

Hi! I keep getting the BE exception for the new updated version. It's a good mod but the BE is annoying. It constantly shows up and slowly lags my game whenever I load into household. It's a good mod though.

Hi, you installed something wrong, I guarantee the updated mod is fully compatible. Remove everything from your mods folder, keep only MCCC, BE, updated Lot51 Core Library and the redownloaded version 1.2 of this mod. Don't use any old files. BE generates the exception file because the script you have somewhere in the folder hasn't been updated for the new genealogy tracker

I love this mod, but I have been having an issue lately where infants and toddlers get the "bad feeling" mood buff about a twin, but they aren't a twin. I had to remove this mod so they would stop being scared all the time.

I just started using some of your mods (thanks for sharing them). I use the TWINS main mod (only this main package and script), and I also have a similar situation. I have a household with children that sometimes have one same parent, some share both parents, and some have completely different parents, and with the mod, all of them who are of the same age group got the bad feeling or dislike having twin mood (I've seen this with children and young adult siblings). I came back to see if just by taking the mod out the mood can be eliminated.
