Finally I got enough inspiration (from the school bus mod by Kemzima lol) and finished this project. As it said, this mod adds the animated functional trains, which you can use as a subway too.

Setup

You can place the trains on any lot, even on the residential one. You'll need these objects on the lot:

• Train Start Point (place it where trains should start moving)

• Subway Ticket Machine

• Train Timer

• Benches (so Sims can sit and wait for a train not going anywhere)

Place all objects not too far from each other to not confuse Sims where they should go. You can place more than one train start point, but make sure to duplicate other objects too. A train will move from the start point which is closest to the used ticket machine and train timer. But I advise to have only one set of items per lot to have everything predictable.

Payment

For now, you can pay and travel only with one Sim. Use the Buy Subway Fare interaction or buy the travel pass and use it afterwards. If you don't use the travel pass, the train won't arrive! The travel pass lets you to save extra money for 10, 20 or 50 tips. It's eligible even if you leave the lot and travel to another one.

After you pay, a Sim will wait for several sim minutes. The train timer will countdown once the train is almost arrived at the station.

You'll see the dialog window asking if you want to travel now or not. If not, just click on the train timer later and choose the Travel interaction or use the M key as usual.

Special Cheat Animation

If you want to see the animated trains without travelling, you can Shift + click on the train timer and choose the Spawn Train interaction. Don't spam it and wait a few sim minutes, or the trains will clip.

The trains also arrive when you're loading on the lot, so you can just wait a bit before using this cheat.

This is just a decor item, but I thought it would be cool to have anyway. You can find it in BB by typing Subway Map:

CONFLICTS

Temporarily with the mods with custom VFXs. Once the custom vfx resource is updated, the conflict will be resolved. Only few mods actually have custom VFXs.
