Seems EA broke high school generation again on the patch 1.128 (maybe earlier, but I didn't notice). I just tested it in various ways, and the mod works perfectly fine in the new saves, while there are a couple of issues like wrong teachers and / or a couple of missing students in the old ones.

I'll think whether or not it's possible to fix in the current saves, but if you face the issue, make sure you tested in the new save too. Damn I hate HSY so much.

You can compare with the new save, and if it's fine there, then this is the generation ea bug 😞

Yeah :( I have a couple of ideas how to fix it, but I'm not sure yet

Noticed this a while back, so I think it's not from this patch. 50/50d with a "new" (copy of an older game) save and students would show up no problem in it. In my current saves, it's usually just my sim, one other teen, and the staff. Edit to Clarify: this is without any mods that affect student numbers or staff. Will need to test the copies save with those intact to see if it's on EA or mods I use.

There are mods that conflict with this one while having nothing in common with high school years directly. That's just how the generation in the game works (and sucks). That's why you should always check without any mods besides this one, mccc and lot51 core library

UPD2: the mean student doesn't show up even in the vanilla game lol So I managed to return all students besides meanie! I hope to fix them too

UPD3: I figured out what's happening. EA now forces the increased required limit of sims per lot, including space for ~5 random NPCs. That's why the meanie didn't appear on the lot with the default setting (20 Sims per lot), but they appear with 21 Sims per lot. The problem is, that the More Students mod overrides the MCCC setting on the high school lot and sets it to insufficient value.
