As soon as Kelsey came up with this idea, I thought "what if the vibration of the dryer felt good", and sure enough, she wrote it in.

We talked about our writing processes and how they differ. I usually shoot a somewhat abstract concept, idea, or tag... Kelsey goes the more thoughtful route of coming up with a story. The former was the case with this one. I had the idea "sister's friend" , but no story attached. Kelsey's brains swooped in and came up with the laundromat, the small town meeting, the on the dryer oral.
