how do you take the plunge into sharing your work....how do you best the anxiety, not just of being perceived, but rejected, or ignored...

truly you have such a way with words even when you’re just talking to us! thank you for sharing, i really relate to you as I’m also a perfectionist who has especially recently been really critical of my work and sorta being my own blockade because of the fear of failure! it’s a nice reminder to know that failure is part of the process 💖

This one hits home. Thanks for the post, Sav.

It's a delight to absorb everything you say like a sponge and losing myself through your train of thought, letting all this info marinate in my autistic brain and setting the intent to imply these ideas systematically into my own pathway to creation. I'm only 2 odd minutes in but I can already respect how you don't overly romanticise anything and say it like it is that's humbling but encouraging in your own poetic nature. In other words, your content is unrivalled. We appreciate you and the words of wisdom. ❤️

“that is the sense that gets you through these lashings, that there is nothing else” reminds me so much of the ending of your poem ‘poet (derogatory)’. the ever expanding sav brown cinematic universe that both explains and consumes my life entirely!

As an artist who’s gone through so much of this overthinking of my own work it’s really reassuring to hear that someone like you goes through it too.

People resonating with this, makes me feel at ease. Thanks :)

Sometimes it almost feels too easy to be paralysed by fear in everything. Like if I were to breathe wrong I will royally fuck up the universe. Hearing posts like this always helps me shake those haunting thoughts a little, so thank you.
