We're happy to announce that ETS2/ATS Lighting Improvements v2 has reached 40 000 active players in just 8 months, thank you so much for your incredible support 💕

I am still working on v3, I want to do something big with v3 so release is not going to be soon.

Meanwhile I will keep updating v2 for new game versions and fix issues. I might also add some new features to v2.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with the Snowymoon Ul in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Whenever I press the "End" key to open the menu, I get the following error message: UI (71:3161) : 80070057. The weirdest part is that the mod works flawlessly in American Truck Simulator on the exact same PC. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success: • Forcing the game to run in Direct 11. • Disabling all overlays (Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience, RTSS). • Disabling Windows HDR. • Deleting the config.cfg file to reset graphics. • Completely deleting the win_x64 folder and verifying the game files via Steam before reinstalling the mod files. Since it works perfectly on ATS, I suspect there is a specific conflict or issue with my ETS setup, but I can't figure out what it is. Does anyone have an idea or a fix for this? They could work on a more realistic windshield, like the one in Project Next Gen, because the windshield in ETS2 is practically transparent. Where is the dust, the reflection of the dashboard on the glass, the dirty glass? It's a road, I think the people at SCS should never think that a windshield stays clean and transparent in a truck for hours, with smoke and other things coming towards it. I know it's possible to change that, because I watch the Project Next Gen videos on Angus_may's YouTube page.

OptiScaler, for example, can change files. For example, FSR4 cannot work with Vulcan, but the OS solves this. I think this problem can also be solved somehow. In addition, it is not necessary to add FSR4 specifically. At least something that will improve the image quality.

I never liked dirty windshield I prefer being clean forever. And the reflections from the dashboard in a real truck appear only for short minutes depending of the sunlight or the lighting in the cab in nighttime. All real truckers knows how to customize the interior lighting to never have reflections on the windshield because if there are that can be deadly stupid! I never had reflections on my windshield but only one night 40 years ago when I was young and ignorant. After that in my 34 years on the road I never seen reflections on my windshield while driving in the night. Anyway in the game it's an absolute unnecessary feature and even if someone would be able to do that I'm sure nobody would want it after experimenting the awful view of driving watching reflections instead of clear road :-)

As a feature request I would really like to see DLSS preset K, preset M and especially preset L. Also, congrats I was using the mod and watching the yourney since your first TAA implementation video had a couple hunred views. Youre quite the saviour of ETS2 for me at least, Anti Alisasing was always the biggest issue (fuck NPI btw) and I actually stoped playing ETS2 because of this 2 Weeks before your mod released. So yeah, you really quite got me back to actually enjoying ETS2 a lot :). Ccontgrats for making it this far, you really deserved it and showed SCS that they actually have a skill issue they need to solve. Not only did you outclassed their AA but also upped the whole lighting to current gen quality. So thanks a lot, keep up the good work.

realizei a compra da versão paga do snowymoon para usar no ETS2, tenho uma AMD RX 7600, drivers atualizados, instalei o plugin corretamente, todas as configurações realizadas como pedido, mas no jogo ainda tenho serrilhados na vegetação, sombras piscando e tremendo, detalhes no interior do caminhão com flickering e sombras mexendo sozinhas, tenho videos e prints, na versão gratuita não acontece nada disso.
