i know some people thought habibi didn't fit go young's story, but i really loved how enigmatic their relationship was. the illusion that gyuho might return, the shared loneliness between habibi and go young, and the contrast in the trips to bangkok. i think it was such a good way to highlight go young's heartbreak and his road to healing! loved watching this with u guys 🫶 praying for not me next

A lot of times, people say they are fine. Things are ok. But in reality the trauma we have is expressed in ways that is unbeknownst us. Why do we do the things we do and act the way we act. The brutalist way goyoung was acting and his relationship with habibi all stemmed from his trauma from his parents, his first love, his friendships, his betrayals, his disease, his breakups. This show needs to be analyzed to be understood. Maybe the ending showed a glimmer of actualization we all need.

i hope his ex moved on, and it seems the mc also hopes that too. because the ex does deserve better. most likely why he doesnt contact him when he gets back in the city. he regrets not living in the moment more with his ex, just constantly thinking about what would be better/ future then getting there and thinking about the next future thing. but honestly 10 years is still an accomplishment to be proud of.
