hao said that was taken in a taxi on the way to a restaurant. it was hanbin's first time meeting his mom so they took a photo to commemorate even they had an argument on the way there lol

This is one of my favorite variety shows. It's so funny, the managers are always so cute cause they're not used to being highlighted.

RJ, yes that's a framed photo of haobin! Hanbin gifted it to Hao and it was taken on the day him and Hao were on their way to Hanbin meeting Hao's mother for the first time. apparently they had fought just before so they look quite serious in the photo but still went to have dinner with Hao's mother (because one can’t leave a bad impression on their future mother in law). it's quite an interesting choice for Hanbin to have commemorated this photo out of all they must have together, with their faces still stern after their domestic. yet somehow that makes it even more meaningful that they still went to see Hao's mother together when they hadn't quite made up yet. so it feels like a poignant reminder of real commitment in good and the bad.

i truly wish we got actual content of them in their dorms just like BND had pre-debut... i just wanna see them live together and how they interact on a daily basis and be domestic together but instead we just got to watch their managers, who i DGAF about. we barely saw the other boys except hao2binz dorm :/

Fun fact- Xiaojun's fathers career in the 90s/00s was an Anita Mui impersonator (yeah in full Drag). Xiaojun his father and his brother appeared on a chinese TV show before he joined SM and did an interview all about this, where his brother talked about how classmates judged their dads "cross-dressing performances" but that they saw how happy it made him / grew to accept and respect his career and eventually invited classmates to go see him perform etc. His dad performs as Anita, and later the three do a ballad together cause the singing runs in the family. Interesting stuff!

I will be haunted for days by the knowledge that duck intestines taste just like spoonworms. Also I am very worried about pizza managers stress levels and heart health. I have to say… frog legs, duck blood and duck intestines taste good. Frog legs taste very similar to chicken but tenderer. Duck blood’s texture tastes like tofu, but harder, it doesn’t smell or taste rusty anymore after cooked, nice to eat with spicy soup. Hanbin is such a bold person to try menu outside of his comfort zone. I think apart from learning Chinese, this also shows him making effort to understand & adapt to Hao’s culture (through learning his eating habits). He is really sweet and open-minded.

I still have this clear memory from childhood when my mom stored durian in the freezer and that smell wafted in to everything in the freezer AND fridge. That was 20+ years ago and I still remember that horrendous smell. My mom is the only person in my family who likes durian. She is not allowed to store anything durian in the fridge.
