I can see that. I see the similarities in those particular images.... at the same time, I can't even imagine "choosing" between these fantastic creatures. More amazing looking than the Prada show.

To the giant majority of people who have something artistic to offer - like my eternally anonymous poems - the truth has to settle in that being seen by thousands, or millions, is not a real objective; it is limited to a tiny fraction selected purely by commercial criteria. The art, beauty, spirit, love, are in you - they are their own iferime, lonely, but hyper-aware compaanions. Infinite gratitude to you my sister, for confiding this and your other strongest passions, to a shlub like me.

Also, the image of Evangeline standing on the sand with the blue ocean behind her, in bathing dress, is more truly lovely than any of these overdressed girlies.

Anthony… Thank you. I think perhaps what hurts is not simply wanting to be seen by thousands, but longing to inhabit, even once, one of those worlds that has lived so vividly inside my imagination for so long. To walk a runway like this has been a dream of mine for years, so sometimes seeing it from the outside still stings a little. In 2024, I did have a few opportunities, but ultimately I lost them because of a rather unfortunate combination of proportions for runway standards… my height (1.72 m), my very narrow hips, and my weight. Though strangely, I don’t think my weight itself would have been considered a problem had I been 1.80 m tall. It’s such a peculiar and unforgiving arithmetic… But what you wrote about art, beauty, spirit and love having a life of their own give me some a solace. There is something strangely consoling, and very true, in that.
