I have watched the overall Penacony story but yet to play it, this is such an interesting ship because both characters are different types of likeable/unlikeable. Beautiful ship, beautiful art. My fave M/M Pairing in Honkai is still Sampo and Gepard, mostly because of the mystery of how powerful/who Sampo really is and how much he might care for Jarilo and the people there. I would love if they both end up as emanators of Elation and Preservation. Edit to add: I think Ratio and Adventurine have a potential love story that is complicated yet domestic and real: similar to Alhaitham and Kaveh. Mostly because in both of these ships the characters are not all-powerful, they are normal people in an extraordinary setting with crazy abilities. But they are already intimately familiar with one another and Hoyo doesn't shy away from showing how much they understand and respect/care for one another.

Beautiful! As always, doing the Lord's work! Funnily enough, my favourite HSR ship nowadays is one with a character that hasn't even fully appeared yet xD And it's Gun'n'Roses aka Argenti/Boothill <3

This is gorgeous <3! My favorite HSR ship will forever be the 3 way Jing Yuan / Dan Heng / Ren (Blade) But Ratio/Adventurine is a close second. After finishing the story last night I understood why people liked the Galladay ship, toxic yaoi is a flavor that is best savored sourly hahaha. (Honorable mention of the cute wlw ships of Black Swan / Acheron and Kafka / Himeko)

Also, to answer the question, after finishing Aventurine's arc, I am WAY more invested in Aventurine/Ratio bc if there were ever two men in more need of an honest, sweet cuddle... (Okay, let's be honest, MOST of the men in HSR need a good cuddle. And an affirming, praising handjob.)

I think I missed a chunk of Sampo/Gepard lore because I haven't played a Jarilo VI event yet... (I stopped playing HSR for some time, if it's among the events you can play later then I'll catch up!) What you said about Ratio and Aven is SO TRUE!! Their relationship feels much real given how many tough experiences they lived together, and how they've always find a way to share info and help... I feel like it's too much to hope for, but I still look forward to more interactions 💓

100% - I LOVE a good story and when I have no fucking idea what is going on, I actually really like it bc I always figure out the twist and I'm annoyed that I do. I LIKE being surprised by good storytelling!
