I've been getting the dvd's of season 6 from the library and kept renewing it each week. I ran out of renewals the other day so had to return them. I am just going to watch the reaction without watching along just to see the finale reaction. and from the thumbnail it looks like a good reaction. It's all good man!

😭😭😭

The only "juror" Jimmy had to convince was Kim. Get outta here. Noone including Vince and Peter had any idea that Better Call Saul was going to end up being a love story but I love that it is.

It's over! 😭 What now?

The more I sit with this finale the more I think it's a masterpiece. The Christmas Carol structure (Jimmy visited by three ghosts), the subtle way it implies that Jimmy's relationship with Chuck was his biggest regret, the optimism of Kim starting to break out of her self-imposed purgatory, the ambiguity of the ending where you can read into it what you want for the future of Jimmy and Kim's relationship (I'm more optimistic than you guys), and ending where it began with these two sharing a cigarette by a wall. Beautiful stuff. Ridiculous that they landed the plane twice.

I assume you know that but there is actually another show that takes place in Albuquerque and it's from the creators of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It has Rhea Seehorn (actress who plays Kim) as the main character. And as you would expect, it's great (only one season out so far).

Goodbye to the 8 best characters on TV: Jimmy McGill Saul Goodman Gene Takovic Viktor Saint Claire Pastor Blaise Hansford Special Agent Jeffrey Steele British secretary guy and Kevin Costner Great job to all of the actor involved.

....and a young Paul Newman, dressed as Matlock. :)

I was sad watching this show because I knew where it was going, but this finale made me so happy. Throughout his life, Jimmy suffered a string of traumas and betrayals and there was only one persona that protected him, Saul Goodman. The more that people believe he truly is Saul Good, the deeper he crawls into that personality. When he's taken one too many, he fully accepts what people believe him to be. And then in the finale, he finally decides not to shift blame to other people, and by doing so becomes Jimmy once again. That is the true victory of Jimmy McGill. Holy yap jeepers.

Personally, I feel the ending to Better Call Saul is even more satisfying than the ending to Breaking Bad. There are a number of episodes of BCS that I, once in a while, go back and rewatch the reactions to. Nacho's death. Lalo's death. Howard's death (of course), Chuck losing it on the stand, and these last few episodes of the series. Each one hits me hard, every time.

Glad to have been here watching with you. I really enjoyed your reactions. This has been fun. I hope that in the near future you will choose to return to Albuquerque by watching Pluribus. That is where you will find more Kim Wexler and the voice of Howard Hamlin ;)

You should check out the sequel.

Such a flawless ending! My favorite moment is right after Jimmy confesses about getting Chuck's insurance cancelled which lead to his death, it shows Kim with a look on her face like so much finally made sense to her. Cause she never knew about that, and she never understood why he was so callous about Chuck's death and why he never truly grieved. It's so sadly poetic Jimmy winds up in prison considering his job was to keep people out lol. Absolutely LOVED watching both shows with you two! And hope you guys get around to Pluribus! Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn are incredible with that as well.

Thank you for allowing us on this journey with you. ❤️ New backdrop? New room??

MaplenutsReact

Same room haha, but we painted the walls finally and got some beautiful movie posters!!!

MaplenutsReact

I hadn't even noticed that structure, but you're so right!

MaplenutsReact

Totally, Jimmy spends so much of his speech looking back at Kim over and over again.

MaplenutsReact

Are you talking about Pluribus? If so, I had no idea it was also set in Albuquerque!

MaplenutsReact

I know right!? We have to just sit with this finale for a bit and really let it sink in. But then The Expanse!

MaplenutsReact

Oh no! That makes me so sad to hear... I really wish you had a copy. I seriously hate it when Library renewals run out at the worst time.

Nathan Jasper

After all he's done, why do I feel so bad for him just watching Kim leave the prison LOL

You mentioned the comments being great for no spoilers, so I think it's fair to say you NEED mods on here for Buffy, and to avoid the YouTube comments entirely. Buffy watchers are notorious for giving away spoilers, and worse for what I always call non-spoiler spoilers ("The next episode will make you cry!", "Character X becomes my favorite!", or things they think are clever hints that are not nearly as subtle as they think they are). You will need a couple people on here to screen the comments for you to see, or you WILL have moments, characters, and episodes tainted.

Yes, Pluribus and yes, its set in Albuquerque. I really like how the city looks in Pluribus, there is so many new camera angles and places we haven't seen yet. So yeah, you don't have to be sad about leaving Albuquerque - you can jump right back in <3

Vince Gilligan sticks the landing again. Where great series like Sopranos and Game of Thrones left their fans feeling 'Meh' about the finale, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are appreciated as the masterpieces of series television that they are. A gold standard for other showrunners to aim for.

Watching for a third time but with you guys was super special. Thank you!
