Thanks for the update. I'm also about to get into writing mode and I really appreciate you sharing some of your process! Looking forward to the BTS!

so excited! can't wait to hear it all. i know it's really vulnerable — but i would love to hear a bad song, and what you think is bad about them, or what you learned through writing it.

Probably have covered this before, but what inspires you to write? What other groups do you listen to?

Loved this looser sort of free-flowing update! Honestly if you were to do one of these video updates (like 5-15 mins one-take) every other week or so, I’d be so into it. No polish, just straightforward chatting (kinda like in the zoom chats!) but specifically about whatever bits and bobs you’re working on at the time, or peeks into the process. I really liked how you explained the different phases of a song coming to life, and it reminded me how I’m mortified of the thought of someone finding my phone demos because they’re SO BAD. But there’s glimmers of good in some of them. I’m trying to get better at recording the cathartic moments (especially as I pursue a more “serious” project compared to my usual fun goofy stuff) but it was nice to know that you also have those really messy raw ideas still, even after a lifetime of frequent consistent songwriting. And now I’m off-track. Anyway, I loved this and I can’t wait for the goodies ahead! Besides, when it’s quiet on the Patreon, we know that means something good is on its way. 😎

Happy Friday!!

Thank you for the update! While I am always waiting for more Echo of the Night episodes, it is exciting to know that you're also writing new songs. Best of luck and I'll be waiting :)
