Capturing Kong Skull Island on Monday with an editor sorting it out for me (as I'm working), fingers crossed dropping the same week. Thank you Mr Editor.

I will also be starting Star Wars Andor one evening in the week too. Wetting the whistle and putting me in a Star Wars mood ready for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

I’ve got a week off work coming up so I’m tempted to do a Blockbuster week where I watch 1 movie everyday covering a variety of genres. I’m excited about this one so stay tuned for the post featuring the movies I’ve already shortlisted.

If you got any ideas too when it comes to films, let me know down below because you could change my mind!!

Go create and be great!

OH MY GOD ANDOR?!?! I was just about to rewatch the series, the timing of this couldn’t have been more perfect 🙏 have you ever seen it before or will this be first viewing? SUPER excited!

You'll love Andor, some gritty mature Star Wars. Still pushing for Dune and Dune Part Two though, no better (modern) blockbusters than those. Blade Runner 2049 is from the same director, also stunning. John Wick movies could be a good shout too, great action.

ANDOR!!! Lets go!

Janne Tabell

Andor one of my favourite series as of late, absolutely amazing character work and storytelling!👍 I would recommend for the blockbuster or something maybe John Wick as you talked about in Resident Evil 9 that you would fancy some action choreography!

Seyomint

Andor is brilliant! It’s unlike any other Star Wars story written. In film or tv show that is.

For the blockbuster week, I'm once again going to bat for Halloween. You'll adore the lighting and the tension building and see where a lot of horror tropes originated 😁

If you're doing Kong, I HIGHLY recommend the 2014 Godzilla. It had some crazy good moments in it. Those Godzilla movies and Kong are all part of the "Monsterverse" which i enjoyed thoroughly.

Andor is a slow burn. You have to sit trough the first couple of episodes but the moment the action starts you are in for a ride in one of the best written and mature Star Wars movie/show.

Ducard

So yes on Dune 1 and 2 for the Blockbuster week. :-)

omg yes, kong and andor are great, also looking forward to that blockbuster week, hopefully dune or lord of the rings triliogy (extended edition) shows up during that.

Mark

Oo sooooo exiting! Andor let's go! :) btw do you plan to watch the full "trilogy", right?) (Andor s1-2 into Rogue One)

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

If it's good, I guess so. I've not thought that far ahead tbh. I have seen Rogue One once before when it first came out. I remember I liked it but it's also the reason why I didn't check out the Andor series. I knew the lead character is dead so didn't bother. Good news though... I now get to share that experience with you guys.

Mark

Haha makes sense :) very keen to see your reaction:) (I see what you're saying, but tbh I don't think that it is Rogue One "prequel" would matter, we all know that Anakin is Darth Vader, but it didn't make prequel trilogy bad :) )

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

That is true. Tbh with you, at the time of it's release I heard all the noise but still, I think I needed a break from Star Wars. There was so much being pumped out that I need a break. Fast forward a good chunk of time, I'm excited to check it out 💪🏻

loved Andor. by far the most mature mainline Star Wars media we've ever gotten. it was great to see the franchise taking itself seriously again

Local Degenerate

I would suggest Oldboy 2003 since its such an influential film on action movies and i think you would love it. However, the comments mentioned Dune, the new Blade Runner, and John Wick. Which i think would have more things to comment on in terms of cinematography. Those are a much watch I think.

You will love andor i'm so hyped
