There I was about to jump into Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth but thankfully, you guys informed me about the DLC to Remake. I almost missed this and by my beard, I’m glad I didn’t!

Another slice of the best eye work I have ever seen and not to forget the quality of the cutscenes themselves. “WE ARE SO SPOILT!”

I thought the team behind this remake would slow it down for the DLC, cut some corners so to speak for budgetary reasons but they didn’t. All in on rewarding the life long fans of this franchise. I take my hat off to them!

The later half really did remind me of those wave tower type DLC’s but the way this was presented and how the story was packaged, you’d never know.

I really hope Yuffie is in Rebirth because I thought she was a breath of fresh air. It was amazing to see the other side of the coin too when it comes to our lead protagonists. Same world and game environment but yet so different. Tastefully done chaps… tastefully like Scarlet’s Bangers. 👀

Integrade is all new content. The combat is a mix of new and old. The basic attacks, positioning, etc are all real time. That meter at the bottom of their status windows is their action meter. When you use it, that's when you see time slow and then you pick an ability from that character, magic from materia you've slotted into their gear, or an item. You build this meter by doing basic attacks. It's kind of a hybrid system between modern action RPG's and the old school turn-based JRPG.

This did end with yuffie pointing up. The remaining scenes were mid and post credit scenes.

Yuffie is about 16 yeah. Also, this DLCs content and the Sonon character weren't in the original game, it's entirely brand new content for Remake. And no it's not turn based but you're right it does have traces of it. On the bottom right you'll see bars filling up as they execute basic attacks (that don't do much damage), that then lets you use the more powerful abilities.

That "padding" of CGI cutcenes at the end kept them fans, and me at the time, thinking and thirsting for Rebirth that wasn't even announced at the time. It was honestly quite the reward that kept us wondering how the next game would be. And you'll get to see what comes next right away. So I hope you enjoy it. If you choose a video with gameplay like this, yes it'll be longer, but you'd get to see some cool moments and places. I see you talking and discussing the environment and music in the gameplay sections, so they're not all time wasters. Rebirth is very long tho, so that will be a lengthy series of videos.

All that Jazz music during the chase through the factory is close to a note-for-note homage to several Cowboy Bebop soundtrack tunes.

Gotta do FF7 crisis core reunion next before rebirth. Its a prequel to the main game and explores more into zacks character and the origins of sephiroth

It sounds like you already are, but with you being a cold caller I'd suggest waiting on the prequel until after Rebirth. Seeing how you don't already know the story, watching the prequel before Rebirth will really spoil some of the bigger buildup and story moments and possibly make things more confusing. But watching the prequel after Rebirth will give you more info on what's going on and clear things up without the story spoilers.

It does. Because you haven't seen the original, it absolutely will spoil some things covered in both Rebirth and whatever the third game will be called.

Damn im getting spoiled, i had to sub just cuz i love ur stuff and youre covering FF7 i was like yea man! I sub and see this uploaded, lucky me!! Cant wait for Rebirth! That leitmotif you keep hearing and talking about around the 1 hour mark is the Shinra theme! One of my favorites. And why the quality put into this is crazy is because FF7 is probably the most beloved and talked about FF game ever. And they really want to make it right so you're spot on with the loveletter, also seeing as the OG is basically Lego dudes walking around pre-rendered backgrounds hahah. Even then the story is top tier hence why its one of my favorite games, still worth checking out 30 years later. OG spoiler but not really but kinda(???) Yuffie was an optional character in the OG only appearing after leaving Midgar and you had to find her in a random battle encounter! Very cool imo.

Fun fact btw in the original final fantasy 7 yuffie was 1 of 2 optional characters you could recruit to your party it was quite the hassle to get to her lol if you choose 1 wrong dialogue response she’ll just take your money then you have to find her again

Intergrade is the game's sub titlefor the full name being Remake Intergrade. INTERmission is the title of Yuffee's section. Unlike in the main story were you can change between characters, in the DLC you are in direct control of Yuffee at all times. Her partner can be issued commands during battle, but will act of his own accord otherwise. Yuffee is 160cm or 5'2" to 5'3." For reference Could is 173 cm or 5'8" and Barret is 197 cm of 6'6," according to official sources. Sephiroth is 185 cm or 6'1." The DLC takes durring the events of chapters 8 through 12. Weiss and Nero and the Deepground stuff are all from Dirge of Cerberus FF7, which you need to avoid until you've done Rebirth, what ever part 3 will be, and or the OG. all that befor you then watch the Advent Children movie, which takes place 2 years after the end of the OG. Dirge of Cerberus takes place another after Advent Children. Though Weiss is the end-all-be-all-super-boss of Remake, by way of a combat simulator. But, only after you've gone through both the main story and INTERmission both, to unlock him. Both Remake, Rebirth, and Dirge, have a chpter select to replay the game from the start of any chapter as NG+ or the Hard mode challenge runs.
