The special guests in this one are fantastic! I think this might be my favourite so far. I’m not in love with the Joker, if I’m being honest, but everyone else I really like.

Now I really want to know who’s in the next game—and whether I’ll know them as well as I know these characters.

I can’t believe the step up in quality from Mortal Kombat X to Mortal Kombat 11. Was MKX on the last-gen consoles, or did they do a full overhaul at NetherRealm Studios? It’s amazing. I’d even say some of the best facial work I’ve ever seen on the channel.

I can’t believe how lucky we are now when it comes to the visuals. I’m really appreciating the effort these studios are putting into their titles. Has the tech advanced that much between consoles? 🤔

This video doesn’t include the X-ray moves or the Friendships sadly, but I’ve got another video coming for the latter very soon.

After that, it’s time for the Game Movie. If the visuals are anything to go by, it’s going to feel like we’re watching a real feature. Let’s just hope the fights carry some weight and don’t rely solely on the visuals. Tekken 8’s campaign—and the reason behind the fights—really set the bar. That final fight… scrumptious!

MK11 has some work to do to win this fight but I do have faith… I guess we’ll see.

Initially, MKX was made for two generations of consoles - Playstation 3 and 4 + Xbox 360 and One. But before release, the older-generation versions were delayed and then cancelled altogether. MK 11 was made exclusively for the new generation of consoles. As for the guest characters from MK 1, you're definitely familiar with them, but they're unlikely to excite you as much as MK 11 and MKX. Without spoiling anything, they're aimed at a younger generation of players.

As far as I know. I believe non of the movie starts are voiced by the actual actors. They just took their likeness. But if you indeed bought the game. You probably figured it out already.

Rambo is voiced by Sylvester Stallone, Spawn is voiced by Keith David and Robocop is voiced by Peter Weller. The studio confirmed it on their socials. They didn't get Arnold tho, Chris Cox performed Terminator's lines. And The Joker was voiced by Richard Epcar, not Mark Hamill.

Similar with MK1 btw. They didn't get only one original actor to voice his character (one blond guy).

Must be mixing the disappointment of 11 and 1 for certain characters not being the OGs then.

The reasoning for the older Arnold is his dlc character was released around the same time as the terminator dark fate film which saw an aged Sarah Conor and T-800 and they themed his base design around the movie but all characters have unlockable skins to customize so you can have a young terminator and non revenant versions of people like Lui Kang and Kung Lao. Love the reactions!
