Hey guys, I'm thinking about hiring an editor for the Patreon so I can cover more TV shows for you. I've only got so much time to shoot, edit, export and all that jazz. So far two shows is kind of my limit including a movie every 1-2 weeks.

Starting here with an editor...

I've heard this new show is pretty solid however, I've not heard much about it from you guys hence I'm asking now.

i know u said ur into super hero run thanks to the great work u been watching and explaining to us <3 this one is legit different super hero lenses wouldnt fit that much (but thats the catch u should learn when watching hope u start and enjoy it as much as i did <3 love ur work)

Oh I forgot to say I watched it in both and both r different experience with a single button u can switch so would be funny if u just fk it and whenever something interesting. U watch that period in both colored and BW

i started in it but ended up switching to colour as not only is it stylistically over saturated but they do do some clever stuff with the colours in scenes which i thought was cool

I watched it in B&W and loved it. In the first episode I switched between B&W and Full Colour but sticked to B&W since it is more authentic to the world it is in. But the panorama shots of NYC in Full Colour were awesome because they made it in a specific way that resembles the first colour movies in the 50/60s. You may find that interesting too. Maybe watch it in B&W for the atmosphere and one episode in color for the differences? I mean when do you get the chance to watch a movie/series in two different "color" ranges?

I have a third option, maybe, if not on camera, then atleast in your own time watch a section of it in colour that you’ve already seen in black and white or vice versa, I’d like to know what you think works better and if they’ve chosen certain colours or lighting so it’s compatible with black and white, if anyone knows their secret sauce it’ll be you!

I mean, Nicolas Cage pushed to have it in full color for the young generations and all of that. But I think we are big boys now and we know the right way to watch it and feel all the noir essence is with black and white. The acting, the camera movements, the shots, all of it was done with a noir mindset

yes PLEASE. I really wanna watch it myself. So watching it with you instead would be so much fun. I do think you should almost watch it twice. In my opinion one should first do black and white, then after do with colour. I would love too seperate videos on it. It would also help alot with reactions i feel, since the first time you will be so absorbed (hopefully) in the movie, that you wont be making too many comments. And with a second watch with colours there would be a lot more focus on the videogrophy and colours. i think that could be a really fun and unique thing

Especially coming of just having watched your Hail mary video. Where you and me were too stunned with the movie too really see how amazing it is. So doing it twice but different would be a fun twist
