My first taste of Gun-Fu and it was bloody blasting brilliant! One could say they had much fun with it, being truthful my face started to ache from smiling.

I had many questions going into this movie which I mention in the intro and it was fascinating watching the answers blast me in the face with every gun shot on screen. Don’t worry, I explain as we go along what I’m thinking and if not, I mop it up at the end in the post watch review.

Thank you so much to all those who voted, you are LEGENDS! John Wick 2 anyone?

The world expansion is amazing

A curiosity about John Wick is that the character doesnt speak a lot because Keanu Reeves often forgot the lines while filming and that ended up being a special characteristic in the end. Even so that for John Wick 4 he said to the writers that he was going to charge for every word he said in the movie, so he could maintain that aura. In the end they knew what action movies needed. Fight more, talk less and let us see it all

Yeah unfortunately Lance Reddick who plays Charon (the hotel concierge) passed away in 2023 very suddenly, he was only 60. One of my favourite actors. Ballerina (the John Wick spinoff) was his final role. He's also a major character in the Destiny games (he also played it himself) and was actively playing the game the night before he died. Players got together in the hub area where his characters NPC stood and held a vigil for him in-game which was pretty cool. Also in your spare time you should check out the videos of Keanu on the gun range, he's an absolute beast. He does a lot of the action and stunts himself.

Senza Nome

He’s also in the Horizon series (Im not quite sure how much in Forbidden West as ive just started my first playthrough not too long ago) I was so surprised and happy when I heard his voice

Smokey

the gold coins are roughly worth $2,000

Ducard

Three more movies to enjoy. :-D I am also so excited about the Highlander reboot with this director and Henry Cavill and Dave Bautista. I am hoping for sword fights on this level.

Grant Peters

“They’re acting like he’s the Boogeyman!” Kai, your ability to predict some of the things that happen in these movies/shows blows my mind sometimes.

Smokey

They never say it in the movies but the coins are solid gold so It’s around $2,000

Ducard

Yeah that immediately made me laugh

Can't wait for John Wick 4!! It's my favorite. I'd like to know what your favorite is as well, once you've covered the rest of the movies

LimitlessEntertainment

After u cover John Wick 1-4, I would love to see you do the spin off, Ballerina (2025). It's actually my second favorite in the franchise!

4faith

John wick 4 is the latest (and i think the final) in the series. So four in total

Michael Bauer

I don't think you can go wrong by watching all four John Wick movies. In the fourth one especially, you might notice a "fat" guy you'd like. 😜😎

Seyomint

That f-ing nobody…is John Wick

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

That's Scott Adkins right!? I watched his podcast/YouTube show and he was all over it. Twas the only reason I was tempted to watch it. Problem is, I didn't really know what or who John Wick was. Now I do!

Erlok

Time for John Wick 2

Janne Tabell

John Wick movies are so entertaining, but I must say that the fourth one is the most fun in my opinion!! It also has some absolutely beautiful cinematography and lighting!

Bren

Yes mate! Undisputed II Last Man Standing! That's where I discovered Scott too. What a legend Boyka! Boyka! Boyka!

The night is Dank and full of Memers

I will probably be in the vast minority of only liking JW 1. As soon as you get to the sequels, all grounded elements vanish. The suit and the plot armor are insane.

4faith

Right! I totally forgot. For some reason, my mind kept thinking it was still in the works

Zoozee

Yeah you're right, Kai. Your analogies might be a little out there sometimes but daggonit, that titty twister one, had me in stitches👌😆

Zoozee

Well mission accomplished sir💪😆

Thinkace

kai im late to watch ur video i failed u :c im sorrrrryyyyy

Sam Dapper

Can’t remember where I heard it I think on The Rewatchables but the story was most of the action shots were wide because they were so tight on budget they only had one camera and crew most of the time to shoot.

Aleksander Kibsgaard

I gotta be honest, I love your videos either way. But the way you Kai actually listens to your viewers and actually do it. That takes you from great to exceptional, man you are the best and all the best to you and your family 🥇🐐🙌🏻 I will keep the subscription until the end of time, easy!!🤩🤩

MrWinston953

love the video, not sure if its just me, but the audio seems to be out of sync ever so slightly.

Spoder

I know im really late too this reaction. Tis been a hecitc few days. I Just wanted too say that Subtitles would be greatly appreciated. I always have it on every movie/show, it just makes it so much "easier" too watch. No matter what you choose too go forwards with, i cannot wait for more. (But i still gotta reiterate how lovely it would be if you included subtitles, even if it might "technically" lower the quality )

Michael Bush

Watch John Wick...man cant get better than this........Watch John Wick 2....OK it cant get better than this right?....Watch John Wick 3.....I am noticing a trend.....john Wick 4.....OMFG

40:38 It baffles me how not a single reactor has caught onto the fact that Markus is assessing the danger john is in, and deciding his best chance to help him would be to put himself at the head of the spear. I swear, you don't have to be a genius to figure it out, but everyone is hung up on Markus betraying john at that point. Not saying that was you, Kai. I am saying that it is genuinely baffling. I have never seen anything similar to this discrepancy. Not a single first time reactor caught onto Markus being a good guy before their was overt evidence. That scene at this time stamp is all you need to know his intentions, and I will say for a third time, it genuinely baffles me that people can't see it. I swear this isn't me being pedantic or petty. Once you see it and how obvious it is, you will realize how it simply might be a case of ignorance. Reactors focusing on the wrong things at the wrong times, perhaps. I have sifted through hundreds of john wick reactions, and not a single one of them caught it. It is a phenomenon.
