Hey guys!

SPOOKTOBER is almost upon us and this year, I want to hit the Horror genre hard! I know how much you guys love this and as most of you are aware, this is my weakest area!

Starting below, I would like a list of Games [All Cutscenes] and Movies you would potentially like to see next month.

I will try my hardest to “Play the Tape” on them all but if not, the Games and Movies with the most mentions will be selected.

Get your Horror game on and let the blood splatter!

Silent Hill 2 Remake FOR SURE

PeppaShrekky

Obviously, please continue the Resident Evil series, some great games there

Martin O'Dwyer

Devil May Cry pleeeeeeease 😭 in terms of actual horror though Silent Hill P.T would be great!

Baelian

Five nights at Freddy’s security breach or five nights at Freddy’s secret of the mimic I also highly recommend the 2 five nights at Freddy’s movies Edit: I just remembered I also recommend cyberpunk edgerunners it’s a Fantastic show on Netflix in the cyberpunk universe season 2 comes out later this year there’s 10 episodes all about 25 to 30 minutes it’s such a fantastic show and the camera angles in it is just unbelievable a high recommendation if you want an emotional exotic time it will make you go through an emotional roller coaster

Jonny

The movie that got me the most as a kid was sinister , can’t tell you much about the film making but I just remember being scared shitless. I can tell you there’s a lot of I guess handheld shots in this film other then that I’m blanked out. Definitely think it’d be a good watch tho

KingWCKD

Game: Alien Isolation! Movie: A quiet place

HAZ

Gotta be resident evil 7 or 8 absolutely f*cking scary

Kanye

You could do either of the two Alan Wake games or Control

Snk444

Silent Hill 2. The remake is good

Chris.N7

Alan Wake series. Silent Hill 2 remake.

Cheshers

Alan Wake 2 would be phenomenal!!

2Y

Funny Games (2007 version) a very polarizing movie would be interesting to hear your opinion on it as a director

Ocelot

Sinister is a great film, it's tough for me to find a good horror and this film just did it for me, the music to it as well fits so good.

Ocelot

Dead Space would be a good game to try and I'll second someone elses comment on a movie, Sinister

The Leek

For Indie games: Little Nightmares 1 and 2, Reaminal, Still Wakes the Deep For AAA Games: RE7 and Silent Hill Remake

Teplkomn

Would love to see you react to some of the remedy games

Dm I

I'm once again asking you for your Alan Wake support. 20% of AW2's content is live-action with real actors, not CGI or in-engine. This game MUST be on the channel.

Chris Clark

Outlast Evil Within Diablo 4 and expansions cutscenes and cinematics Films: Jaws 2 The Woman in Black Black Sheep Sleepy hollow The Mummy(brendan Fraser ) Godzilla 1954 or Shin Godzilla (They are described as a horror film) The Hellrasier series Tremors

Mr Sym

A Quiet Place would be a fantastic watch!

LaurenAnne

Alexander Grimes

Film: The Devil's Advocate (1997) Game: The Evil Within (2014) (and perhaps The Evil Within 2 as well)

Austin Wilson

i'd say Dying Light or Alien Isolation or Outlast for games, fantastic horror games (Alien Isolation and Outlast do survival horror way to well its terrifying). For movies Shin Godzilla would be a great watch, Hereditary too. or we can go back to the blockbuster year of 1978 for some classic Michael Myers horror

furby

Alan wake 1 and 2 belongs to spooktober!

Alan Stock

It Follows is a great film, and has a really interesting visual/cinematography style. Best to go in blind on the premise if you don’t know it.

James Nyman

Silent hill p.t is the greatest game we never got. You have to check it out

5Tom51

Like others said, the silent hill series would be perfect for this. There even are movies, so you cna perhaps compare? Also check out the P.T. demo, best game that was never released.

Phryte

World War Z

Christian Watts

Alan wake would be great to cover I think, number 2 especially!

Chris Monica

Was just thinking abt this recentlyy

Ducard

I can only recommend movies like Sleepy Hollow and The Pope´s Exorcist

LimitlessEntertainment

Game: Resident Evil 2 Remake Old movies: The Silence of The Lambs, Sleepaway Camp, Scream 3. New movies: Late Night With The Devil, Longlegs, Annihilation, It's Follows.

Hyp3r-Tom

There's some stuff in those games that is def worth not missing, I hope we can find worthy lets play videos if it gets chosen

Hyp3r-Tom

Everyone keeps saying Hereditary, are we trying to traumatize the poor guy lol?

Hyp3r-Tom

A lets play of P.T. would be fun if Kai has never seen it, especially with the Kojima dive that's been going on :p

Cheshers

For movie choices, I wanna throw Talk To Me (2022) in the mix. It was the first feature-length movie of Australian twin brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, who'd mostly done Youtube horror shorts before then. They worked as crew members on several films (like the Babadook) so they had a lot of on-set experience, but Talk To Me was their official directorial debut and BOY did they do a good job.

lynne

Horror films: The Craft Bride of Chucky The Shining Halloween (1978) Friday the 13th Carrie (1976) Sleepy Hollow And some films that aren't "horror" but fit the Halloween vibe: Edward Scissorhands The Addam's Family (1991) & The Addam's Family Values (1993) Haunted Mansion (2003) Beetlejuice (1988) The Corpse Bride

NinjaLantern53

For Games, I'll echo Dead Space Remake and Alien Isolation!

Jess Landry

Resi 7 is the spoopiest, so if you could get through the Resi remakes up to then and then 7 for spooptober that would be optimal in my eyes lol

KotaVee

Dead Space Remake is a perfect choice for this one! ✌️

LordKnoppers

Dead Space 1 (2008 & 2023) and Dead Space 2 would make me whole, ahem, happy. In my opinion DS1 and DS2 has to be experienced with complete gameplay not only the choreographed sequences. Alan Wake 1 and 2 Condemned: criminal origins The Darkness 1 F.E.A.R. 1 Still wakes the deep Limbo (like Amnesia and Soma not cutscene driven but very atmospheric) P.T. (playable Teaser for silent hills) Prey (2006) Amnesia: the bunker and Soma (not necessarily cutscene driven but very atmospheric with good stories) I am probably alone with this but I can't stand outlast (how it handles certain topics) or Calisto Protocol (that one red band trailer is better than the entire game) Some honorable / joke mentions Deadly premonition 1 Realms of the haunting

Fsaitza

Here I go with Silent Hill 2 Remake. Out of all the games out there, if I had to reccomend just one for you to see, I would choose that one. The game that upgraded how horror games should be like and how deep can a story get with all the elements of survival horror serving that one purpose. And one of the great things about the saga in general of Silent Hill is that almost all of them are separate stories and plots, so going for Silent Hill 2 wont affect at all how you see the others in terms of the plot. Also, a reccomendation of a movie that is well linked to Silent Hill is Jacob's Ladder. If you eventually see other Silent Hill games and youre curious about its main inspiration, that movie is the one to check out. I have to admit, its not a very known one or a box office success like others, but it has won the hearts of many people over the years. Also because its rare to see such a clear movie reference of a popular saga or videogame,. Its like Kojima saying which movie heavily inspired Metal Gear. That movie turns into a must watch instantly for those who love the game

Yoshio

Would love to see you cover the Remedy-verse, especially Control which is one of my all time favorite games as well as the amazing Alan Wake. My two favorite game storytellers are Hideo Kojima and Remedy (Sam Lake). Quantum Break is also part of the multi-verse so if you want to go full on you could start there (those actors are in the later games too). I'd recommend QB, AW1, Control, AW2. And this prepares you for Control Resonant which releases in 3 days.

PotatoDude

If — and only if — your goal is to be genuinely scared (or traumatized), Hereditary and Sinister are VERY commonly put high up on most horror lists for their immensely high scores on actually scaring the viewers, and I can't help but recommend them both. You may or may not need to spend the first 2-3 weeks easing into the genre for either, though. 😂 There are of course plenty other great recommendations here that are a much 'lighter' watch, strictly "I can't sleep tonight and I've run out of underwear" speaking.

Alejandro Perez Castro

Alan Wake 1 and 2, please! I know Kai will appreciate the ever loving hell of the second with the jump in production!

Feyd

100% this. Let's get RE2 remake.

Tom Chan

Werewolf by Night. An MCU short film, directed by Michael Giacchino who's normally a score composer for MCU and other flicks/games.

Alexandre Bégin

For game cinematics, Silent hill. My favorite is silent hill 4 but the horror genre in games is experience based instead of witness based like movies or books. We could have a long conversation about Horror in video games as a medium but i'll leave it at that.

Cchase70

I think the Halloween 1978 film is a no brainer, and HOPEFULLY people will grind the new Halloween game fast enough to have a video out featuring all the executions cause that would be a lovely October watch and would hit home for me since your reaction to the F13 The Game kills was amongst the first videos I ever watched from you. I'm looking forward to an incredible spooky season with you!

Dominoan

Outlast is the scariest game I’ve personally ever played, but I’m not sure how well it would translate to being watched as a film.

Travis Hoover

evil within 1 has a few cinematic elements you'd probably like

G Lord Robinson

If you can sir I think you should go through one last romp with John Marston, Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare 😱😱😱

HillBillyPhilly

While not strictly Horror but suits the vibes. I'd love to see a reaction to The Wolf Among Us Remaster when it's out in October.

Chris.N7

I should add that if you end up reacting to Alan Wake it is in a connected universe with another game called Control. It would go Alan Wake > Alan Wake American Nightmare > Control > Alan Wake 2 > Control Resonant

Christian Sanchez

Silent Hill 2 Remake You're going to love it. ❤️

Jason Gentry

An American Werewolf in London

SIG

The outlast trials! They will be thin on cutscenes but for horror all thier trailers and cinematics are really really great horror stuff

G Lord Robinson

https://youtu.be/zgSaij-6p0o?is=scGN_nBIMVtfRHQk this one is gamers little playground it has about 30 mins of gameplay with all the cutscenes in 4K (I read your comment while I was at work I just realized you only said cutscenes only sorry about that sir don’t mean to cross ya 😅😅) https://youtu.be/foHIl2YVGUs?is=dQVvNKWlbsEJ4dUo this one is simply the cutscenes in 4K, however there’s no subtitles. Your choice my friend I am most grateful for your response and interest in undead nightmare, John Marston is one of my favorite characters. This dlc is funny but also eerily disturbing it can damn near make you sick to your stomach lol

Steven Andrew Ruiz

Halloween 1978!!! It’s a classic and I’d LOVE to see the movie through your eyes. I’ve watched it so many times, but goodness me a fresh perspective is ALWAYS welcome. It gets me excited all over again about the movies/films I love

TomaceStryker

Definitely silent hill 2 remake! And for movies I’d sugggest maybe the shining or Halloween!

Boof Barnold

Games: Resident evil 2 remake Silent hill 2 remake Movies: Evil dead (Sam raimi) Jacob’s ladder
