You’ve been asking me for these two for a while now and I’m happy to say and in the words of Shang Tsung “"It has begun!"

Due to the amount of horror game suggestions and I did say “I’ll try and get through them all”, I will be drip feeding these throughout the next few months.

There may be a slight pause for a certain Game of the Decade coming out next month but I will get through the chosen Spooktober Video Games.

It doesn’t have to be Halloween for us to enjoy some awesome scary games.

Oh I'm so excited for Silent Hill 2 especially for how good its cutscenes are, but Alan Wake is also great! Just curious, does this mean you're planning on doing Control and Alan Wake 2 as well? They are connected in a shared universe and doing them in that order will get you the story in a chronological order if you do!

I've actually been playing through the entire Remedy studio games and just finished Alan Wake so this is perfect timing. It might be interesting to take a look at 'Bright Falls', it was a promotional live action web-series made as a prequel to Alan Wake. The whole thing is under an hour and can be found on youtube. Its not essential but its a good primer for the games story and how Remedy isnt afraid to mix media, using live action and in engine content for thier games

Alan Wake, hell yeah. If you're invested after the first game the series order is: Alan Wake, Alan Wake American Nightmare, Control + DLC, Alan Wake 2 + DLC and then Control Resonant.

Yes!!! Silent hill 2 the game that made me buy a PS2 back in the day, it was that and grand tourismo I had for it. Console still works to this day. Alan wake also a good game. Can't wait for you to get to the deadspace remake. And perhaps with the sad demise of bioware a mass effect watch through.

We are definetely spoiled. Silent Hill 2 and Alan Wake both???? Not to mention Alien Isolation that you just covered and the classic slashers too. I hope youre enjoying the horror tour between the oldies and the recent titles youre covering, and especially in such a short amount of time. Also for Silent Hill 2 Remake dont worry if you need to ask things, because you probably will need to. Here your loremasters have your back covered. And I have to ask, after watching Silent Hill f, do you think youre able to say where is this story going? Or will the old tricks of its IP maintain their magic after all these years? In this game, every detail counts, and your observations will have more relevance than you might even realize. A true masterclass of "show, dont tell" And for Alan Wake be prepared for a horror journey in the shape of a game, and how a story can be constructed in a way that Stephen King would be proud. And again, loremasters have their notes ready when you need it

I've been waiting for this one for a long time!! Am I okay to DM you with a few things to keep in mind with remake? No spoilers of course! I'm a huuuuge silent hill fan and I love this game so much. I've waited for this episode for a long time. I hope you've got a great video that shows all the endings including the two NEW ones introduced in remake. ♥️♥️ Thank you Kai!! Made my Halloween.

I can't express how happy I am to finally see Alan Wake! I guess, it's time for my nipple erection! On a more serious note. The first one is definitely outdated, even with the remake. But it's short and critically important for the second game, so shouldn't be skipped. And the second one is exactly what the channel needs in terms of cinematography.

Oh my days yes! I don’t touch a lot of horror but Silent Hill is the one exception because it’s got such an interesting concept! I digested lots of silent hill content all the way back in high school and it was such a good read on the side and incredibly scary to play! The recent releases of modern silent hill games, the remake and two new recent launches have good cinematics to watch! A friend of mine even tells me they plan to remake the very first silent hill game in the future too. I can’t confirm or deny that news but if it’s true that’ll be a fantastic remake
