Love that y'all are loving Breaking Bad! My personal belief is that Walt does care for Jesse, felt really badly about him getting beaten up and missed him - so he wanted him back for that reason. But also important (and equally important, if not more important) - Walt likes that he can control and manipulate Jesse. Maybe even that Jesse messes up sometimes & he likes that he can use that to "teach" him or to manipulate him further. Gale is sort of too good, too perfect, too unable to be manipulated, etc. Even though he does defer to and listen to Walt.

The ending of this episode was so good, you ladies could hardly stay in your seats, it was fun to watch. Poor Hank, he really went through a tough time in this episode. It frustrates me so much, of course I'm for Walter and Jessie, but man, Hank, along with Walter Jr., is the only good person on the show. All he did wrong is he's good at his job, he didn't deserve any of this. That was a great reaction, ladies, as always.💜

Breaking Bad with Hella & Chi has become one of my highlights of the week this spring. The funny thing about this series is that it becomes even better the second time you watch it, and i just turn better and better for each season. I remember "Sopranos" and "Game of Thrones" as more of a big thing that everyone was talking about when they first came out, but Breaking Bad is overall the better one. Almost no "weak" episodes and even a satisfying ending - in great contrast to the other two mentioned...

One of the most intense episodes, everyone is going through bad times. Hank really did have a guardian angel, it's not Walt though. It's such a tough time for Jesse, he's been through a lot now physically and emotionally. Can't blame him for wanting to go back to something he is good at doing. I think the same for Walter, he's not used to working with someone who does exactly what he says and be so cheerful. Also, Katie and Ivy would have spotted a McPoyle this episode, lol.

Damn, I'm surprised how far Jesse was ready to go to hurt Hank and Walter now. Let's see how it goes, but i think Jesse will be more dangerous now he was when drugged... "Taking the fifth" is the fifth amendement. in short, the right to remain silent and everything you'll say can be use against you. Ohoh... The new assistant may become a problem... He might seek vengeance or work with Gus somewhere else. I think we are not done with him. "Maybe we can seel it cheap?!" well yes, but you'll lost client by sending them in cemetery ! 🤣 "Why are we happy about it?" very good question !😂 Finaly, Hank is letting it go his trauma... and it didn't get easy for him in the end nonetheless ! good things he got the anti-armour bullet! let's hope he survived !! one twins less. let's see if the other is still alive. Maybe Gus is using Hanks to get rid of those twins who are making a mess in his territory. that's the best explanation I have if it's Gus who's helping Hank. Such a good episode. and you had so many fun lines in this one 😅. Like you I'm eager to see of Hank will survive and what will happen! Thanks for the good times! Have a good day Munchies !

Funny this show is built on characters that are all annoying, with maybe the exception of Mike. 😅 But it works. This my 3rd watch of the series, it definitely so much fun to watch it again with Hella & Chi.

It's control with Skyler. She was ready to DIVORCE a long running marriage just because Walt (Who was facing terminal cancer) took actions without her involvement. He didn't cheat like she did. He didn't try parental alienation like she did. He did something illegal to secure his families needs after his death. She did something illegal to help the man she was cheating with. Walts actions can be viewed as noble towards his family. Skylers actions are always about her control and position of power in the relationship and destructive towards her children and family. Walt never intentionally hurt the children to get back at Skyler the way Skyler has done at least 3 times. Skyler is more of a devil than Walt.

I do always enjoy reading people's insane justifications as to why Skyler is actually the bad one, even if they are objectively wrong.

Walt nearly killed his wife and children because he didn’t want to accept money from elliott and gretchen. I think that’s bad. You are insane for idolising walt the way you do.

There's no "justification" Brandon. The protagonist of Breaking Bad is Walt, so it's natural we as viewers oppose anyone who's standing in the way of his progress (even if it's illegal and immoral).

Maybe. I think I maybe will appreciate more in this second watcthough, but the first time it was maybe one of very few that was a bit boring. Typical «bottle episode».

It's a show for entertainment purposes you virtue-signaling clown. Unless you're a legitimate sociopath or mentally deficient every human being is able to know what's right or wrong. You don't have to root for the "good guys" when it's fictional characters. FIK-SHUN-ULL CHARACTERS. Walt is the protagonist which drives the story. If he's stopped the story is over. You rooting for people to stand in his way means you would've wanted the show to end after two episodes.

A lot of powerful moments in this episode, but Hella was screaming over almost every line and finishing other characters dialogue. It kind of took away from the weight of those moments. Just a small critique. Still a good episode overall.

LOVED the hospital scene with Jesse letting everything out and Walter taking it all in. I think Jesse was really hurt when Walter said his meth was inferior. He needed that gratification and validation... 🥹
