Gemma Amor: Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this the tale of white pinesAmor: now fair warning, this story does involve a lot of geometryLovecraft: [sweats]Amor: but don't worryAmor: it's EuclidianLovecraft: oh thank godLovecraft: i was worried for a second there!

Amor: it's about a woman who has four fingers and she goes to a mysterious island where there's this recurring symbol of a triangle with four dotsAmor: wait a secondAmor: four fingersAmor: four dotsAmor: four fingersAmor: four dotsAmor: four fingersAmor: four dotsAmor: wait a minuteAmor: wait a minuteAmor: this means something!

Amor: this woman feels drawn to this mysterious islandAmor: but does she actually feel a physical draw? or is it only her overworked imagination that has caused her to believe it?Amor: is her head hurting because of her link to the island? or is it only a coincidence?Amor: maybe she's just dehydrated or under too much stressAmor: or perhaps there are no explanations here in the physical worldAmor: and this story is, in fact, beyond beliefAmor: fact or fiction

Amor: arriving on the mysterious island, she encounters a hidden community living within the perimeter of three strange stone cairnsAmor: wait a minuteAmor: three cairnsAmor: three points on a triangleAmor: three cairnsAmor: three points on a triangleAmor: i thinkAmor: i think there might be a connection

Amor: on this mysterious island, she finds a secret community holding a weird festival within the perimeter of three strange stone cairnsAmor: where everyone is drinking beer from beakersAmor: and the occasional Erlenmeyer flaskAmor: so naturally she asks the obvious questionAmor: which is, hey, are those trees over there indigenous

Poe: so uhPoe: are the trees indigenous?Amor: no!Amor: in fact the trees are not indigenousAmor: people planted them hereBarker: glad we got that cleared upAmor: shut up, it's going to be important later!

Amor: in the end, the woman turns into a treeAmor: look around youAmor: there are many things to seeAmor: some you'd sayAmor: could never be…

Sorry so late, I am unavailable all tax season, lol. Did you ever see David Cronenburg's "The Fly" with Jeff Goldblum? His character's last name is Brundle. It's what transporter mishaps would actually look like, and it's gross.
