The guy you talk about at the end of the video is a performance director, he takes care of all of the things like stage, positioning, lighting, dancers, props and all the other small things that create the performance as a whole experience

yes they did book all the venues months before the album release. the tour and its dates/locations were announced in january, which means it must've been already booked by then. the album came out on march 20

Since you were talking about Ai. Did you guys know that there’s a viral phenomenon where “AI image generators, symmetry apps, and facial recognition filters consistently struggle or "fail" to accurately recreate or flawlessly analyze V’s face because of his distinct facial structure”? It even says —-“There’s an ongoing real life beats AI" phenomenon surrounding BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) that has become a massive running joke and point of pride across the internet”. A big majority of times not only Ai can’t get V’s face right but the “real life” V always look better than Ai that sometimes people think the real picture is Ai.

About the stage and crew. It was actually revealed by the local team in Colombia that BTS's crew is around 450 people, plus they employ around 100 people locally in every city they go so things can go faster. They have 6 cargo planes that transport the stage (they have 2 stages, while they do a concert in one city, another stage is getting ready in another place and so on. Also the article said it's the heaviest stage for a tour in the last 15 years, around 600 tons, because it's a 360 stage) , plus 2 planes for the crew. There're a lot of team members that operate the drones, screens, cameras on tiktok and they sometimes post behind the scenes stuff.

Yes, they have 2 stages and leapfrog. While one is being used the other one is already being assembled at the next tour stop. They wouldn't be able to stick to such a tight schedule otherwise as it would take too long with only one stage. The logistics are just insane.

I read somewhere that to produce a major stadium tour as huge as BTS, total operation costs typically would consume 60%-65% of the gross tour revenue. So assuming the tour’s overall gross reaches between $1 billion and $1.5 billion, total tour production and execution costs range between $600 million and $1 billion USD.

now imagine paying hotels, travel and salaries for a crew of 450 people for a year (probably longer) tour. Also, their outfits keep changing, thats also extra cost, and then on top of all of that the BTS members themselves also have to be payed from the earning of the tour and I am sure their pay check isnt small. so after ALL of that, the tour earnings should not only cover those expenses, but also bring in the profit. They earn a LOT on merch and army bombs etc as well.

I dont really know what your prices in Australia were, but in Europe I would say, I was honestly surprised by how "normal" the prices were. They were more appropriate, imo, than Harry for example, especially the VIP. I was able to buy 4 concert tickets for 4 dates for less than a thousand euros: one of them was floor VIP, second one was regular GA floor (I ended up being barricade lol hahaha, everyone around me was VIP), and I had 2 tickets that were in 200s but first rows. So I was basically behind the last row of 100s, also AMAZING spots. I NEVER thought that I would be able to get 4 amazing tickets for UNDER 1000Euros. For the comparison, the most expensive VIP ticket in Europe was around 450Euros, for Harry the most expensive one was around 820Euros (insane). Obviously, it's still a lot of money. But I payed nosebleeds for Harry Styles in 2023 100Euros, and for 180 Euros I saw BTS members one meter away cause I was barricade. When BTS has MUCH higher expenses, the stage is more expensive, dancers, pyros, outfits, lightship etc.. I love harry, but bro mostly just stands on the stage with his band and shakes his ass a lil - harder to justify the prices

Just to add on to the tour organisation convo: Stadiums and arenas have to be booked AT LEAST a year in advance. So that comes first always. So the staff definitely had mapped out the first 8 months of the tour during the last months of BTS' military service. Once they probably got out, the first legs (USA; Mexico, Japan, Korean; Europe, Latin America) all probably were confirmed while they were still writing the album, so summer 2025. The problem with stadiums is that most of them are sports stadiums so you have to map the tour based on availabilities outside of sports season (for example, European ones are only available late spring and early summer, outside of football season, same goes for other countries' stadiums). an extra factor that played the part is World Cup this year, which is probably the reason why they split the US tour in two legs, and why they didnt perform in the biggest Mexico stadium, bc it was hosting World Cup at the same time. Another thing to take into account is all the other artists that are touring. For example Europe had: Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars and Harry Styles all touring during spring and summer, all doing stadiums, so it's also a lil competition as to who gets which stadium. BTS werent able to do Wembley in UK this time because ALLEGEDLY the stadium chose Harry Styles, instead of BTS bc they were booking around the same time. Also, not all stadiums can accommodate them, and especially their stage: which is the reason Latin America is having different screens, bc some of the latin American stadiums couldnt "handle" the weight of the stage so they had to adjust it. ALL of that was done with relatively "blind" ticket sales and profit predictions. Tours are always organised relative to the "last tour", based on the number or tickets, price and attendance and then you always hope, you as an artist grew and can scale higher. BTS based on their numbers and demand rank amongst the A tier touring artists (Beyonce, Taylor, Harry, Coldplay, Bruno; Bad Bunny etc). BUT they had a 6 year break since the last tour so trying to "estimate" the sales and actual demand is a huge gamble. (yes, WE know that they will always sell out, but for a business you have to have different facts and numbers to back that up, not just "army says so").

I don’t think you guys are ready for the "FYA" + "Fire" mashup in my opinion, it’s the best part of the concert!! As for the 2.0 stage, that happened in Chile when it stopped working... the center circle was supposed to rise, but it stayed down, leaving them in a sort of hole, haha! That’s why they performed the song again, but using the other side of the stage.

Prices here in the United States were very affordable—honestly, I was expecting them to be much higher—and that’s even with me buying a VIP soundcheck package. Obviously, prices skyrocket on the resale market, but if you managed to get tickets during the presale or the general sale, I don’t think it’s expensive at all for a BTS show. In fact, I almost feel like I still owe them money!

Venues have to be booked at least 2 years in advance. Especially for them the only ones they use are also multi purpose ones and have to work around sporting teams etc. That's why they were restricted on when they could tour in certain places. The World Cup - they had to use College stadiums they normally would not tour at because the venues they have previously used were tied up for the World Cup which has an access restriction on no other events for 2-3 months prior to the World Cup at any of their venues. For Australia our appropriate venues have even tighter timelines as most other places are just soccer or NFL stadiums so are only used during those seasons and have more time availability in the off season. Australia doesn't have too long of an 'off season' between footy and cricket. It's why in Australia some of us are very vocal about how we show there is demand here in Australia through streaming and buying via local suppliers. That's information the company can see and notice so they can plan tours so early. Because they had venues booked with tentative dates that is why they had such pressure to complete the album on time as everything was already pre-booked.

6:11 It's not even like intentional, it's more natural lol. Like, it's hot but not hot enough for you to take your jacket completely off in that moment, so you only take out one arm, then it'll start to get really hot, so you just take it off completely. Idk it's not really a good explanation lol
