Hey all! A sponsorship opportunity came in that was pretty much just "talk about some Polish video games that you like." So Marty did just that!

The Alters: Poland can TOO go into space

Ryan Pattison

The Alters and Indika both rule. Adding the Vanishing of Ethan Carter to my wishlist as I'm sure I'd enjoy it. It's just a game I've kind of forgotten that it exists.

Insomnia Inc

The Alters is one of my favs in recent years, really need to get on the DLC as I barely managed to complete the base game. Also holy shit I've been playing a LOT of polish games the past couple years.

JDINCINERATOR

Frost Punk, Evil West and This War of Mine getting the snub.

Ronny Cook

Shoutout to CD Projekt Red. While they made a hash of the original release of Cyberpunk 2077, they did eventually pull a No Mans Sky and fix the game. Also the company behind GOG, probably the most ethical games distribution platform. (Humble Bundle also contend here, although their treatment of their sponsored devs was a low note.)

Simplex

Indika is a great game, but not a Polish game. Made by Odd Meter - Russians who escaped to Kazakchstan. It's distincly Russian, takes place in a surreal version of 19th Century Russia.
