2026-11-05 01:00 Funnily enough, in addition to her new name in this game 'The Fallen', the actress for the Female Cenobite also wrote a short story where she dubbed her 'Mother Superior'. As for her attachment to Aiden, it felt to me like an experienced woman toying with a much less experienced partner. I think, as Yahtzee points out, Clive's ability to turn a phrase imbues a lot of his ideas with gravitas and dignity. Even the campier ones. The articulate Cenobites were inspired by Dracula, being as eloquent as her was dangerous. And he too, is very camp and theatrical. And with theatre, if it can't connect and invite you to read into it, it does just come across as silly. As far as the game goes, while sections could be quite tense, the most uncomfortable part was Bruno working on Charlotte while she writhed and moaned in ecstasy. (Bruno was certainly a lot of fun. From my understanding, Clive had a bigger hand in him. He's expanded on in the Bleeding Hearts Novella.) I did enjoy the ending with ascended Pinhead. Of all the times they've tried to create an ending for the character, this feels the most appropriate and satisfying (if it is indeed an ending). And yeah, I followed them too the first time. It just seemed like what Aiden would do. Though I felt bad to disappoint Zora.

Kruton

I can't properly evaluate the game. Clive Barker fans are operating on a lot of cope. I'm probably going to tell myself I liked it no matter what.
