I can’t believe we’re here already

THE FINAL SEASON! We're here. Just remember... it's not about right, it's not about wrong... it's about POWER!

That scene going back through all the big bads gets me every time.

The scenes in England were filmed at Anthony Stewart Head's home. I want to live with Giles!!!

Buffy didn't treat Spike as an enemy which she had every right to considering what happened the last time she saw him. She let him touch her face. Spike is going through some serious soul sickness, like Angel did before he came to Sunnydale.

Oh, wait, I spotted Pikachu but I don't have a beverage... pausing... alright, here we go!

Hum.. new? Yes, Darcie, all the nostalia feels from this one! Since the writers all knew this would be the last season going in, I think they made a special effort to throw in lots of throwbacks and inside jokes for those of us who have been here since the beginning...not just in this ep but throughout S7 in general. It is kinda touching. And so fun to see all the old villians at the end! And.. I spotted Pikachu!😍

I love that final scene. What amazes me is how they coordinated it in real life. If even one of those actors wasn't available, the whole gimmick would fall apart (you kind of touch on it talking about bad Angel). I wonder if they hired the actors first or wrote the scene first. I hope the crew got credit for that great scheduling.

Couple of small things. I’m amused that Dawn uses the phrase “you’re not wrong” @31:10; that’s very much a Xanderism (I think the first time it was used was in Lie to Me?), and slightly-younger-Dawn had a bit of a crush on Xander. Nice attention to detail, WriterFolk. The fight music has changed over the years; it feels a bit less Star Warsey in this than in, say, season 2. Finally, umpteen viewings of this over the years and I’m only just noticing that the first and last lines uttered by Sarah Michelle Geller were “it’s about power”. Sigh, I get there eventually.

This was so much fun! That finale season with all the villains is 🤌

I just love how Buffy is surprised the new principal knows of her...she was only crowned Class Protector and repeatedly saved her classmates' lives and is very likely a big red name in all the files on the school, files a principal would probably see. She's very cute when she's clueless.
