See you soon – 1 PM AZ time

The picture attached had the most votes and I can’t wait to show you how to paint this beautiful scene with a focus on dry brush.

Materials:

paper- I'll be using a 4.5X6" piece of arches watercolor paper, taped down.

paint- Bring any paints that you prefer, I'll be using the W&N limited palette of cad yellow, cad red, ultramarine blue, lemon yellow, perm rose, cerulean, indigo and sap green.

brushes- We'll be using our regular brushes, size 4 and 10 round, and also a rigger or liner brush for the thin grass details.

All classes are recorded and available to watch any time after the stream ends. The link will be live at 1 PM AZ time when the class starts. Let me know what questions you have!

Can’t wait to paint with you

If we change the color of the boat to a dark green, what color would you suggest for the reflection in the water? Add more indigo to the green maybe? My grandfather had a boat just like this one only his was green. Would love to paint this for my dad for Father's Day as a suprise 💚

Laura

this was great, thank you!

I really am enjoying this boat painting. However I am having a difficult time blending the colors. I am using Windsor Newton but just can't seem to get the browns you get. Help
