Water sparkles for 38! In this video we are leaving the white of the paper for the water sparkles. I show you the step by step process of negatively painting them, but if you would prefer to use masking fluid to save the white of the paper in perfect circles, I show my finished piece using masking fluid at the very end. Watch the first layer of water all the way through to see how I create the "circles" of glistening light. Everything else you can take your time with. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - cad yellow, cad red, cerulean, and ultramarine blue.

Brushes: round 4 Princeton
