See you soon - 2 PM AZ time - also Pacific time for our live class!

The picture attached to this post had the most votes and I can’t wait to show you how to paint it using negative painting!

For today’s live class we are doing an intro into this month’s technique: negative painting

What you’ll need: watercolor paints, paper and brushes. Choose whichever is your favorite.

If you can’t make the live class, don’t worry! All live classes are recorded and available to watch back any time.

Can’t wait to paint with you! Let me know if you have any questions.

I’ve not done a live class before and I’m wondering about paper size — is it 4x6?

Hi! I can hear you better - when I think you are speaking directly into the mic? Thanks

S A Cadena

My first patreon experience, tuning in from New Mexico

Alicia

First live class tuning in from Iowa. So thrilled to be here.

Alicia

Excellent class thank you! Followed along just fine.

Alicia

Yes - I am in the just for fun club!

Colleen

I enjoyed your video but many times your voice was muffled and difficult to hear. Maybe a separate microphone would help? When you were speaking directly the sound was great but maybe when you turned to look at something else it was muffled.

Jerri

That was pretty fun. I’m starting to see negative painting a smidgeon better after this month…thank you!

Replay crew a second time :) Thinking about the comment that people get lost as they don’t know where you’re going. It might be helpful to give an overview first, something like, we’re going to do the initial layers for the flowers, greenery, add in the sky, then use more negative painting for the greenery, the flower centers and finish with the final flower details.

This is a month later so I watched the recorded one. I just have to say that I lost the big flower and didn't even notice it until I was finished! I'll do it again and this time I won't get so energetic with the greenery!
