Fun fact (only if you're a CPA) assuming Barovia's tax code mimics the US tax code - churches are actually subject to "Unrelated Business Income" (UBI) the same as other nonprofits - meaning a church is also subject to federal income taxation when it conducts business not related to its mission. All of this to say, I would think operating a Fuddruckers inside a church would still subject to income tax. But as always you should talk to your tax professional if you have any questions - and make sure they know the intricacies of the state and local tax code of Barovia 🤓

hi long time listener first time commenter! may it please the court, as a romanian id like to add it's a custom even nowadays to have a dead relative at home for 3 days, both for religious reasons (something about the soul hanging around a bit to say goodbye) and practical: if you didnt have a doctor to declare the death u would hold watch over the body to make sure theyre trully dead and not in a coma or smth so that 1d4 that was rolled to see how many days it was was a die telling a story :)

Yes! Dimension 20 uses a lot of royalty free music so you'll occasionally hear it watching YouTube and stuff. Although I think the neverafter theme was edited to be more intense

My friend's church hosts a trivia night each month where there's food provided, they just ask for a donation up front. Provided they still register as a 501c, could the triplets get away with a church fuddruckers if it's designated as a fundraiser and the income is classified as donations?

An excellent question! The very short answer would be yes, as fundraisers don't typically trigger UBI. That being said, I'd recommend that the triplets consult their local CPA to discuss recording and reporting on their fundraiser events. I'd also recommend they talk to a cpa soon because how they were talking about operating their church fuddruckers in episode 4 sounds an awful lot like conducting business for the sake of raising money.
