Do you ever have an issue with getting salty? I know a lot of people claim they never get salty, but I really think I'm good at controlling my frustration. I'm just so happy to be playing Magic whenever I get the chance! The most salty I ever get is probably when I make a careless mistake, and then I'm salty at myself.

Not in Commander. It's always magic when something is actually on the line, and it's usually due to a play mistake I make. I try not to let it affect me, as I know that by doing so, it will affect the rest of that tournament. But once you are in that salty space, it is hard to leave. As a side note. Players who get salty playing casual Magic make me really uncomfortable, so I tend to do everything in my power to avoid playing them in future.

Oh yes, 100% I get upset about my impulsive plays or shortsighted misplays.

I mainly focus on casual EDH and attend PreRelease events. I do my best to focus on enjoying my there but I feel motivated to do well for myself and my opponents.

That last point is a good one. If you're salty when you're just supposed to be having fun, it feels like you must have been in a bad place at the outset.
