I kind of feel like this has been the most consistently strong season since the switch over to the new voice actors. There was probably only one episode I didn't really like, and that's the karate episode. Actually, I take that back. I actually really, really liked the Jerry B story. I think if I had an episode I didn't like, it's probably the Owen Wilson one.

are you guys going to react to supergirl?

A GREAT season with CONSISTENT great episodes. I'm looking forward to seeing if S10 can TOP S9.

I like how this season showed us that even when Rick is happy, has friends, or a new wife something happens and he just ends up as the Rick we always know

Tbf... it's only the 3rd full season since switch... But I totally agree lol 👍

You know, Rick and Morty have switched the writers room up every 3 seasons to this point. Everyone widely considers s1-s3 a classic of it's own time. One that hasn't been touched since the OG writers left... Now I've been a fan of every season, for the most part, but s4 and s5 were just BAAAAD (Remember Naruto? Summer's giant incest baby in space? Yeah, sorry I had to remind you) But remember, after s3, they got a contract extension for 70 more episodes. They took a while to get their footing because they were trying stuff out at first just seeing what they could get away with. I think that down time is what allows them to hit so well NOW! It's like South Park TO ME. There is a GIANT Lull in after s10 of South Park where every episode just feels like their are trying too hard to make simple jokes funny, or trying too hard to spread their woke agendas over modern day media. Like s9 - s13 got rough for me, but they still have some of THE BEST episodes in the whole series. That's why I hate to judge a show like this based on seasons. When I watched American Dad, there wasn't a bad season, just bad episodes. Same with KOTH, family guy, Futurama... They have their moments, but the shows are pretty consistent. Now ARCHER... THAT has good seasons and bad seasons, but it's always just as funny to me. Idk why 🤷‍♂️

Blackest Knight

This episode left me with that classic patented Rick and Morty feeling that I got a lot in the first 3 seasons. Dark humor at it's finest. This season has jumped to top 5 for me, and it sure ain't 5... It's 4 😆
