Elena put the necklace on the table at the end of episode 10 when she discovered the photo of Katerine. Stefan found it there at the beginning of episode 11, damon had nothing to do with it. Only witches can sense vampires by touching them. Vampires in this universe have heartbeat, like Damon said in the previous episode, his body function pretty normally has long has he have blood in his system. And the irony of stefan saying there is only 1 liar among us, talking about damon. But in the last 2 episodes elena discovered that he lied to her then here stefan lie to damon. Writing in this show is really well done, if you pay attention there is a lot of subtext

Just got out of the hospital yesterday, so I’m easing back in—2lb arm weights during the first 12 minutes, then a couple sets of squats and lunges before the episode started. Baby steps back into a routine 💪 Great reaction—seriously, I love how you mix movement and chill depending on the day. It makes it feel doable and enjoyable. Also, perfect timing posting this before work—I got in some light exercise and then watched with breakfast, coffee, and water. Honestly, ideal start to the day. Hope Winnie got some great cuddles.

Stefan had explained that vampires drink coffee and alcohol to warm up or keep the blood in their system warm, so that no one notices that they are cold/dead. Lexi was amazing. Even back then, I thought the actress looked familiar, but I had no idea why. It’s taken me until now to find out by chance that she plays a small role in a number of later seasons of GG. I won’t say who, but it’s absolutely hilarious, and it’s just taken me 25 years to realise it.

They're so quick to invite everyone in like that! I immediately had the same thought, who invites a delivery person inside like that? also it's a show on the CW, being hot is half of the requirement to getting cast! If you pay attention, you'll realzie literally everyone is hot, like what are they putting in their water in Mystic Falls? Finally, I don't know if you remember (probably not but I just watched it recently) but you reacted to an episode of Legacies (spin off to the originals which is a spin off to the vampire diaries) where they put on a musical about the town and the characters of The Vampire Diaries! It would be cool if later down the road you reacted to it again and beter understand the jokes. (no pressure or expectations tho, you do you!) The musical in the episode pretty much just makes fun of the vampire diaries in a light hearted way as the executive writters were the same on both shows and people love someone who can make jokes at their own expense!

Not to mention, Lexi told Elena that alcohol helps with the cravings. It takes a lot of alcohol to get a vampire drunk. I think Damon explained it to Vicki, or it might have been Stefan, but as long as vampires keep a healthy diet of blood in their system, their bodies act normally. That’s why they can sleep and eat/drink regular food. They can also bleed, feel pain, use the restroom, etc. It makes it very easy to blend in with everyone.

So the bar, The Mystic Bar & Grill, is like one of the only restaurants in town. I believe it’s located like right in the middle of town so that’s where everyone goes to hang out.

On the mention about baby vampires strength from reading the comments at the beginning, that was my comment a few weeks ago and just to clarify, their emotions don’t actually make their power stronger or them physically stronger in anyway. It’s like someone being erratic or in a rage where they are acting irrationally or lashing out. Someone being that uncontrolled can overpower someone who is stronger but acting more rationally because they may not expect the intensity of that person or the unpredictable reactions of that person. Hope that makes more sense :) To add: It’s not a big thing, we really only see that lashing out a few times, Vickie being one of them. The more important thing to remember is that age = strength in this world.

Isobel was the name of Elena's birth mother. Aunt Jenna told Elena earlier in the episode. Vampires can't hold or touch Vervaine (SP?) because it causes their skin to burn. Vampires can't compel other vampires... It will all make sense next season.

OMG you and Dani’s relationship is just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET! I love this show. I first watched it when I was six or so with my mom. The same with twilight. Then when I got older originals and legacies came out. At first like most, I hated Damon. Like I hated him for a while. For at least a few seasons. Then somehow, someway I fell in love with his character and absolutely hated Stefan instead. But my favorite character out of all three shows, is one of the originals. I love your reactions they have me laughing to the point of tears. And not to mention, I’m legally blind and you are very descriptive and open about what you’re seeing. And so that helps me know what’s going on. When I was younger and first watched this show, I wasn’t blind and I could see some, but over the years things happen and I couldn’t see anymore. Strangely the only seen I can remember seeing, throughout the whole show, is when Elaina hurts herself in episode one in the graveyard. I remember seeing the blood on Her leg,and her jeans pulled up. And that’s it. Now I can use an audio description program on a websight so I can watch it in full. But your reactions are like audio descriptions on their own. Your very expressive., so even if I’m not getting every small tiny detail, I’m getting everything I need to to understand what’s going on. So THANKYOU for being a naturally expressive person, your reactions are fantastic and so much fun. I’m so freaking excited for you to watch more of this show, it’ll be EPIC!
