always interesting to see your theories as someone who has the seen the whole show lol. With the joke that you missed, chandler and the gumball machine, is that joey (who eats a lot of everything and is very laid back) is apparently very strict when it comes to having sweets/candy in the apartment and wouldn't let chandler get one, which is very out of character for joey.

It'd be such an easy fix for Ross, which is what makes this whole thing so much funnier. He just has to tell her that there's stuff they both have to do for the annulment and she never even has to know he didn't immediately go to get it. 🤣

I agree the divorces wouldn't really bother me either, but I'd need a long conversation about the second - like a long conversation. I always think it so cute to see Joey's reaction here, as you can tell he loves living with Chandler so much. It's so blatantly obvious that Ross still loves Rachel but as usual is only thinking of him though 😖 but hey bring on drama hehe xxxx

I think yall have talked about this before, but I was always more shocked to find out when a friend’s parents were still together (happily). My wife cracked tf up when she learned I was in a therapy group in elementary school for “troubled” kids with divorced/divorcing parents and it was called… Banana Splits 😂😭😂 I digress. My issues with someone like Ross (besides the fact that he’s a man and I’m queer haha) would be way more than just 3 divorces, with only one raising serious red flags.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the joke behind Ross saying that he should go live under someone's stairs was a reference to the Harry Potter book, which were popular when this season was filmed. It's funny that I've seen this episode a bunch of times and never made that connection before lol.
