Hi Again! We had a request for Mardi Gras themed and thought it could be fun to sneak a quick little pack in while we finish up the final two packs for this month! This pack contains a Fleur De Lis as well as a few different mask clickers! I am super happy with how this pack turned out and hope they add a little fidgeting fun to your Mardi Gras celebrations! βοΈπ
Updates
02-24-25: Updated the Mardi Gras Mask with the new base design. It was accidentally released with the old design, Sorry! π¬
Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).
This pack contains 3 unique base shapes and 4 unique caps. Raised variants are offered where able. Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.
Photo Colors π¨
Green - Elegoo Sea Green
Purple - Polyterra Lavender Purple
Yellow - Hatchbox True Yellow
3D Printing Settings:
Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)
External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)
First Layer Extrusion Width (Initial Layer Line Width): 0.35mm (recommended)
Only one wall on first layer: True (recommended)
Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)
Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)
NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:
Small Detail (Dots, Lines)
Medium Detail (Feathers , Eyes)
Everything Else (Base Colors)
I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design (flat designs ONLY)
β οΈWARNINGβ οΈ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!
Stay Pawsitive! πΎ
