My mind is running in 100 different directions after the episode, so I don't even know where to begin.

Obviously the Upper Demon reveal and trying to piece together how everything fits is a big part of it, but then there's Genya and his relationship with a Hashira, the swordsmith disappearance, etc etc.

I didn't expect to be so engaged in this season right off the bat, but I can't wait to see what's next!

Not sure if someone has already mentioned this, but the voice actor who voiced Doma (upper 2) is the same guys who voiced Light in Death Note - Miyano Mamoru. Every time he speaks, I keep thinking of Light speaking in his 'I am a deranged hot guy' voice.

For clarification Zenitsu woke up a day after the fight with gyutaro, inosuke woke up 7 weeks after that battle and tanjiro woke up 8 weeks after that battle

Classic demon slayer. Entering with questions and leaving with more questions. This is an aside but Adam being so nonchalant while Sarah is freaking is what makes this reaction. His aura stays rising.

For the "Why is Zenitsu being sent on missions"; the Demon Slayer corps majority is absolutely in shambles. The hashira mentioned it a few times, that they both dont have enough recruits anymore and the ones they do have suck. They dont train, theyre not up to par, and they all die quickly. Tanjiro and friends are some of their only actually skilled fighters, especially now with one Hashira dead and one retired.

I find it so sweet that Sarah calls Daki by her real name “Ume” now whenever she talks about her. Just shows that she sees her as a person and not just a demon anymore even though she did horrible things. It just gives daki (ume) her humanity back whenever Sarah calls her by her real name ❤️

Also I think they missed that Zenitsu woke up a day after they got taken to the mansion, not out for months like Tanjiro and Inosuke

i say "library", "february", and "sword" like adam does, but i can kinda relate to sarah because i have always pronounced the L in "salmon" and didn't know it was supposed to be silent (spanish is my first language) until like around a year ago 🥴 why would it be silent i dont get it 🤔 then again we do have words like "colonel" 😭

(first time watcher) random thoughts while watching: i kinda hope master kagaya is just poisoned by a demon so that nezuko could heal him by burning the poison like she did with tanjiro and the rest. though i kinda feel like it's not that simple and it's some terminal illness that cant be cured. maybe it's related to him being related to muzan and their future bloodline was tainted? also im not sure why, but same. i like akaza the most out of all of those demons. i dont know anything him apart from what we had seen in the mugen train arc, but he seems the most "human"? doma is definitely pretty but his personality annoys me so far. i like sarah's reincarnation theory. in that scene, i originally thought that tanjiro was the baby and the man that looked like him was his father. but i think tanjiro said that his dad was born with the scar and he got his from being burned with hot water. and that man did not have one and neither did the baby. so i guess this was a very long time ago and they were his ancestors. if the man with the red long hair was a vision, i wonder if it's related to how tanjiro was able to talk and interact with sabiko and makomo when he was training to split the boulder. side note: sarah since it seems like you're super into harry potter, i wanna recommend twisted wonderland to you! to me i feel like it's harry potter meets disney villains mixed with madoka magica (another anime). it's actually a mobile game, but they recently announced that the first season of the anime adaption will come out on october 2025! my profile picture is of riddle rosehearts, one of the dorm leaders in the game. he has the same voice actor as tanjiro!

Kanao rarely raises her voice, but when she shouted for Tanjiro to take a break, that’s what truly surprised everyone. Additionally, the Love Hashira wasn’t whining”; rather, as someone of her high rank as a Hashira and with her kind and amiable personality, it’s rare for anyone to respond to her so coldly when she takes the initiative to greet them. She felt somewhat shocked and a bit frustrated by the situation. These nuances might not have been conveyed properly due to translation or cultural differences.

Something I find interesting is master swordsmen in the show like Urokodaki says a sword breaking or chipping is the users fault. Whilst here the Chief a master swordsmith says that its the fault of the smith. Both these groups have immense honor accountability and trust in one another.
