Oh man, that scene in the barn was tough to watch. You can just feel everything Einar is going through and it is so powerful. Are we on the path to being best buds now??

man this season is so good. you can really feel them putting the emphasis on the value of human life, a perfect foil to s1 where people are getting chopped down left and right. Regarding what triggered Thorfinn to snap into action with Snake, my interpretation was just that Snake came at him with an obvious intent to kill (Snake probably knew there was something inside of him from watching him not flinch and seeing if he could bring it out) and that triggered an actual fight-or-flight response, as opposed to before Thorfinn didn't flinch because he knew those were not actual killing blows. Also "crash out" means like.... you're at that point where you're ready to say f it all and don't care about any consequences so you let loose. Nothing to do with short-circuiting lol

Poor Sarah. Knows crashout but got it wrong. 😭 it basically means to completely lose your composure, usually by getting extremely angry, emotional or acting recklessly in a way you’ll prolly regret later

The way him thanking Einar is probably the first time he's thanked anyone since he was six years old hits really hard. Same with the "sorry". Like just multiple moments here of him having kindnesses go both ways for the first time for him in ages. Like, the shirt? He got given a shirt. That's got to be the only clothing he hasn't *taken* in 15 years.
