Mari

BOOBIEOFFICIAL!!!!!! 😹😹😹😹 That would have been great ngl also did you see you can upload videos directly into Patreon now and don't have to use YouTube anymore?

Airyckah Lane

Thank God you didn't go with Split Screen LOL.. Q: Would you consider trying out the Patreon Spotify thing and possibly upload the demos and unfinished or deleted songs as a Patreon exclusive through there so we can listen to those and you could get some pay from it as well? And everyone gets itchy noses.... we understand.. you're good lol

Misty Gerkman

Oh my goodness I am behind! I need to watch the other one 😬

CK DeP

Hii Joel, tack så mycket for these, I love them! Haha seeing & hearing your voice answering our questions!! 👍👏👌 Q: So we comment our questions on here on your posts then you can see , read them out loud whenever you can film them? Q: How many qs is too many to comment on a post? Like os their any limit? Q: Do you answer just only one qs from each person or do you look/read all of everyone's comments qs just maybe answer the questions that sounds the bestest or pick & chose or is it like at randomly? Q: any water leaks in your house? (From the Hurricane, did you get the Hurricane over your area?) Q: IDK if you've seen/read over my video ideas/suggestions. I have posted it in the Patreon community tab posts, also I added video links to each topic, so you can choose what's the bestest video from each category. 😄

Mari
>>115981299

Pft he only drinks it because he can't have dairy, I doubt he would choose it otherwise.. though Matcha and Thai tea are definitely goated 😏

Lianne Conroy

Q: Did you run the 10k you mentioned a few months ago? Or still training?

Sugary Magnolia

Q: what are the advantages or differences you find living in LA vs Sweden or anywhere else? As far as creativity, proximity to other creators/ producers/ etc, and as a general living environment. There have been a lot of changes to the area (ie more homelessness and crime) and a lot of people are leaving California. Is this something affecting the residents as severely as they show on the news? As a tourist it's definitely different than even a couple years ago.

Melissa Rogers

Q: Okay, you’ve mentioned continuing to work on “Bit By Bit”…what about “Best Thing That Happened To Me”?! (From your 100 Mics video.) I’d love to hear this one finished!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Courtney Walker

Q: What do you use to help you track your time to be productive? I could so use that in my life!

Melissa Rogers
>>115981415

I’m so glad he decided against calling himself “Split Screen”!! And he thinks he’s teased about his Bastille impression being baaad. Or about his penguin suit in his Roar cover video. (Of course all teasing is in good fun and not with mean intentions.)

Cas

I schedule calls to my family too. It is nice for them to know when I will call and they appreciate it. Q: What color do you consider yourself to be? What about Jonas and August?

TR
>>115981415

His nose…its a Lil Itchy…. …im not proud of myself but it had to be said.

Melissa Rogers
>>115982344

I noticed a lot of the homelessness in the L.A. area when my husband and I visited there. (When Jiva and Rikard still lived with Joel.) So sad to see.

Bookdragon 43

Love these updates on what you are working on!! I am so excited to see your and Daniel's video. Q: What is your favorite part of creating music, writing the lyrics or the music production part? Hope you have a great week!!💗😊

Stephanie Bruso

Thanks for answering my question Q: I love your song “So Selfish.” I can relate to the song soooo well. Could you tell us more about the song? (Of course as much you feel comfortable sharing)

emy

The storytelling/song combination videos sound amazing, I can’t wait for what those are gonna be. For some reason I can never think up good questions but just wanted to say how much fun I’ve been having with the course. I finally just finished polishing up my dataset - it took me a while to put it together - and I’m gonna train my model tomorrow. I am PSYCHED 🥳

emy
>>115983773

I am intrigued by your question! What colour do you consider yourself to be Cas?

Cas
>>115983773

That's a good question. I think I am yellow. Bright but not flashy, friendly and happy. What about you?

Dannielle O'Neill

Q: Since the weather has been getting crazy lately...I think I remember you cited weather as one thing you looked forward to moving to L.A....Now that you're there... What place that you've lived has, in your opinion, the best weather overall and why?

Elli

Singing and storytelling sounds great. Q: Any plans for more collabs? They often turn out really fun and entertaining🎶🎶

Jen 🦙

This format is great and so chilled, I love it! 😊 so my question leads on from that: Q: have you ever considered doing a podcast and if so, what topics would you cover? You’ve definitely got the calming voice for it! 😄

Nina L

Thank you for these updates, they're very fun and relaxed Q: Do you have a creative process for coming up with new songs / video concepts (especially the experimental ones like testing 100 microphones - that was amazing, never seen anything like this), or does an idea sort of occure to you?

Adina

Q: In the places where you have lived what is the place where you would send a friend that came over in vacation? Something like if you come to sweden you shoul really visit this, or this in the uk…just places that you visited and found that are worth seeing

Brandt

This is such a fun concept, thanks for doing this. Q: Is there an artist you would like to write a song for? Or perhaps that you’ve had in mind for a song when you wrote it if not writing for yourself?

Melissa Rogers
>>115996512

Definitely!! I could listen to Joel’s voice all day!! No matter what he’s talking about.

Jen 🦙
>>115996512

Honestly, his talking tone is so soothing and therapeutic I’m pretty sure he could just be telling me about rearranging his furniture and I’d still be interested! 😅

Melissa Rogers

You’re friend, Andrew Huang, just launched a new musical plugin… Q: Do you know about it?! If so, have you checked it out yet?! We all know how much you love finding new plugins to use in your music making mastery!! Please don’t be mad…I tagged you in the comments section of his launch Reel on his Instagram page.

JustSomeJK

I'm really looking forward to those videos with talking about the stories or themes behind the songs, that's so interesting! I finished watching the AI course last Sunday, that end result was mind-blowing! Like u mentioned, almost like magic. It's crazy how that's possible to do that. Can't wait to see the video u made with Daniel and AI! With you two, I'm sure it's hilarious 😆 Congrats to the early birds 🙂 That notification bell might cut my question off again, since I'm never early enough 😅 but well here's some question anyways.. The Roomie logo is very stylish and I have been wondering this awhile... Q: What's the story behind the Roomie logo? (Did u design it yourself? How did u come up with it? Does it have a deeper meaning?)

Jen 🦙
>>115996512

It really does, genuinely keeps me sane at the end of a stressful day! 😅

Clair (Teampanda)

Ty for the update 🙂 I'm glad you are phoning home, prioritising this is good for your mental well-being, it helps you feel connected. Can't wait for the Daniel video, his recent videos have been hilariously random so I'm sure this will be pure entertainment! Q: You mentioned taking up golf to get out more. It's probably one of the most time consuming sports ever, so how are you going to cope with a full 4 hours out of the house? 🤔

Hayley

Thanks for the update, love this format and getting to know *you* better! Q: Which artist/artists that are, ahem, 'no longer with us' do you wish you had been able to see perform live? Mine would be Marc Bolan/T-Rex, Prince, Michael Jackson (of course) and Beastie Boys (MCA)

♠️ Aslyn Jobry ♠️

No question from me this round. Just a gentle reminder to get sufficient rest. I hope to see you in better health on the next video update. Till then, please take care~~

Miriam

Thank you for answering my question!! I’ve never heard of that song or artist actually! Always great getting new music recommendations!! 🙂

Patti

Hey Joel thanks for these updates. Q: I was wondering if you had any issues with the the crazy storms and flooding California recently had?

emy
>>115983773

🌼🌼🌼 I enjoy yellow! Not to be a copycat but I think I’m yellow too. Pale/creamy yellow pops into my head (I made a lemon dessert the other day 😋) I want to know other people’s colours!

Dannielle O'Neill
>>115981299

I mean, he COULD choose almond or something if he wanted to. Oat really is good. I actually prefer it now tbh. 🤷‍♀️

Mari
>>115981299

No no, oat is definitely superior out of the non dairy alternatives, but the point was it's still not better than regular milk/cream in this instance.

Snoodle

I hope you're ok

CK DeP

Hej Joel! 😀💖👏🔥🎼🎵💓🇸🇪

CK DeP

Hii Joel, it's me again. lol haha, you probs know or remember me, haha! Idk if this will/would work out coz u said to use the Q then : so if I do it on here will it show up for you in ur post comments? Q: I just got done watching your latest "live" video thingy Love at what you've said or explained, can't wait for the more updates & posts for the Making Music Site, yeah I was wondering why I couldn't get into the page anymore, didn't know that the free sign up expired 😆 well now I know! So I will have to pay for it now if I want to continue with the courses, coz I was awaiting for the August 11th post I didn't get for the free sign up, but looks like I will have to pay for the membership in order to watch the courses all again including the new one. Q: IDK if you've seen/read or looked at my video ideas/suggestions I have left on here , I put the link for it on my other post but if I can post it again here, let me know if this link works. https://www.patreon.com/posts/86973243?utm_campaign=postshare_fan & please let me know if this post gets in the next live video & and give me your thoughts/opinions on my video suggestions!😀 Tack sä mycket Joel! I've been learning how to speak Swedish for about 3 half years now, I have bought a Swedish book with basic learning words, describes what the verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc. & learning how to say/pronounce them! Soon, I'll be able to say something to you if I met you in person! 😀👍🇸🇪

CK DeP

Ayyy Joel has answered my question! & YES JOEL! YOU'VE SAID MY USERNAME CORRECTLY!!👏😀 (It's actually for my first name inital & middle & last name) Q: Why do you make some songs (demos) then tease us about it or give us (Patreons) some bits of the song & we needs the fully finished song but then we don't get it? Lol Q: IDK how to really say this without sounding dumb or something lol, but how do you get someone who is trying to become/ trying out to be Vegan / Gluten Free, Dairy Free? & is Boba good for starting out? If so what kinds/types of flavors of Bobas or Coffees, foods , etc. Would you suggest for starting out Vegan / Gluten / Dairy Free? Q: (also relating to question above) , how do u take your Bobas or Coffee? & I have tried Boba for the first time last year (I LOVE it) but it gave me some discomfort & issues, is that normal or did I order something that’s not really Boba? (It has those Boba balls in it so idk what was it lol plus 1st time trying it too) Q: How many questions is "too many" for reading them out & or answering? (Like is the qs limited?) Q: idk if you've seen or read or looked at my other post comments I've done about the video ideas / suggestions , are you still taking them in? Q: Have you seen/read my video ideas/suggestions? please let me know, I did put in some video links for you to look at directly on YT & pick the bestest one out of each topics! (Warning if you have read or seen my comment on those video ideas/suggestions imo some of those video topics I have put in to me are kinda embarrassing idk but I think you'll know what one's I'm talking about!) lol 😆

Lianne Conroy
>>116066023

Hanson is my favorite band. I've seen them live like 10 times. They are amazing live.

Lianne Conroy
>>115983773

Purple is my favorite color and I would love to say that that's a color that would represent me, however, I think that's too vibrant a color for myself. I'm probably a mossy green. Like it's a nice enough color it's not offensive or anything. But it just kind of blends into the background and you don't really notice it.

Gayle

Love you, keep trucking😘😘❤️❤️

Cas
>>115983773

I see you! I think mossy green is a warm color that represents someone who is down to earth and strong. It is a good color for you but you still shine. 💚

Melissa Rogers
>>115996512

Same with me…and, of course, his hilarious antics are my happy place and put me in a much better mood!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 #Thankful #JoelAppreciation always!!

Helga 🦊

Q: What are your favourite Youtube channels (if any)? Or what type of videos do you like to watch if you have free time and wants some youtube watching time for yourself?

Patti
>>116066023

I have seen them about the same amount. They are so good live❤️❤️

Dannielle O'Neill

Joel: I don't care too much for analyzing... Also, Joel: I'd like to point out the flute sample once again... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jen 🦙
>>116117985

Joel: I will never be bias… Also, Joel, earlier in the same video: I’m not gonna pretend that I’m not bias 😂😂😂😂 I love when he has moments like that without realising, what a mad lad! 🤣🤣

Firefives

Ahoy! ༼ง=ಠ益ಠ=༽ง I've only got 2 questions for you, so please read🙏👀 After rewatching yo' 2019 "One guy 54 voices (my reaction)" you and Jonas said: "...Let me know how many Swedish artists you listen to! Do you listen to Håkan Hellström. YoU're NOt LISTENiNG TO HÅKAN💢" "Oskar Linnros!!". Which reminds me, to expand me Swedish songs playlist.... Q: Can you please recommend some Swedish 80s or 90s rock/pop rock artists? (Or just any underground artists you really like.) As a bonus, maybe list any folk songs?? That would be amazing!!! Another thing.... Q: What the f*** even is 2018 "Going nowhere" track on spotify from "Blight. Makes right Vol. 2"?? If it isn't you... It's under yo' artist name...?I've been listening to it for a while and haven't a single clue what it's about. I'm asking. Joel, because you've done some pretty weird sh*t. I wouldn't be surprised if it is you. THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!! Thank you for answering (if you decided to) (￣▽￣;)

Gayle

Q:Are you feeling like Adele's ,"Hello"......?😘😘❤️❤️

Walking contradiction with that perpetual cognitive dissonance. It’s so relatable though, gotta love it 😆

Snoodle

Q: would you ever apply to do Eurovision for Sweden? 🤞❤️
