Hello all!

This, week some acoustic blues. And I'm discussing how to blend chords and fills down in the open position. There's a piece you can learn, and I also discuss my general approach of relating my scales, arpeggios and licks to common chord shapes.

Tab can be found below. The piece is written out in full, as well as all the chords, scales and arpeggios that I mention in the video.

Hope you enjoy it. I'm away next week - since it's half-term break here in the UK - and going to be spending a bit of time with the family. So speak in a couple of weeks.

-Adrian

Excellent timing with this one, since I’m going to be reunited with my old acoustic guitar this weekend! I’ve been meaning to develop my blues playing, so I’m looking forward to starting my journey with this piece.

Still working on this meticulously, which is worth it. Some great ideas to spice up my blues playing. Just a quick request: Acoustic blues that moves away from the twelve bar?

Greetings from Canada. Really like the tab charts, and your arrangements.

Thanks Adrian. Spent a lot of time on this one. Still just working through the first 12 bars. Honestly, the initial turnaround (first 2 bars) really gives me trouble. Technically I can play the notes but the swing rhythm combined with the triplets gives me fits. I don't know maybe it's just me.
