Thanks for this terrific piece Adrian. Malaguena is the first guitar tune that Keith Richards learned - not this version, obviously.

Hi Adrian, I am totally thrilled! This is one of my favorite surf tunes. There is another great version played by The Bambi Molesters on their album Sonic Bullets. Many thanks!

Hi Adrian, another timely Lesson. This fits perfectly into what I currently doing. I've been experimenting with a Dirty Surf Guitar sound and putting together an Instrumental Music Project called "Surfing in the Desert" with my old Band mates from the the second Band I played in back in 79/81.(Played Bass). I am using my Boss GX-100 with a "Ventures" based preset and I added a Blues Driver for the Dirt and switchable Tremolo, dependent on the vibe of the piece. Playing my Vintera II Jaguar and it all goes to my Tone Master Super Reverb Amp. So it's definitely got all the ingredients. I can now contribute the Guitar parts thanks to your Lead Guitar Courses. I'm a third of the way through Course Two. Cheers Pete

Thank you! ❤️

Awesome Adrian. Hey, I guess you know you can put your trem bar in a vice and tap the end with a hammer if you want it to stay put...

Steve Reed

Awesome as usual, Adrian!!! Thanks. Anxious to get this going on my new Gretsch/Magnatone combo.

CC

Fantastic. Thanks for this. Have a great weekend 🤠

Luca Solari

Brilliant sound Adrian - excellent energy - what a great era!

Amazing Adrian! I'm loving the surf stuff.

Alex Hahn

used to love the Bambi Molesters' version of this!!! i've been meaning to learn more surf material, so thanks! For anyone that likes jazz... Pete La Roca did an incredible version of this song on his Blue Note LP "Basra" in 1965.... one of the most underrated jazz LP's of the era.

Iain G

Just can't sync the GP file to the backing track at all. Any suggestions?

Iain G

Just noticed there is a missing open repeat at bar 17. Putting one in fixed the sync thing.
