That’s so beautful, thanks a ton, Adrian! I especially love your much more relaxed attitude. Suits you very well. Is it too much to ask for some tabs for this? Maybe I shouldn’t and just try on my own… Regards from Munich, Florian

Thanks Adrian! So glad I became a Patreon member. I thoroughly enjoy your lessons and the effort you put into providing the backing tracks and tabs. Keep up the good work!

Such a great addition to the main video - keep it rolling Adrian. You are full of gems of wisdom and I know I’m not alone to say happy with whatever additional insights you can provide. Interested in how far ahead of the next phrase are you in your thinking as you improvise? For instance are you able to think “here I am in C7 grip territory so here is that type of lick opportunity”? Or are you thinking “I want to end this lick/phrase on an E note which is the 9 of the Dm and the 5 of the A chord”? Or is it instinct because of your experience and you aren’t thinking the ways described above but can analyse it after the fact? Hoping the question isn’t daft and all that makes sense.

Thanks. This was great. Especially the explanation of the extra diatonic notes.

Bill Davis

Thanks Adrian. Its great to see how you constructed the rythmn guitar and bass guitar parts for this piece. I would love if you put up some more of these patreon only more relaxed videos in the future. Keep up the great work you are doing, we are lucky to have you as a tutor.

Jim Moore

Thanks for breaking it all down.

Really helpful tips and breakdown there Adrian. I always think of the Dorian mode as being just the minor scale with a major 6th.

Really helpful Adrian, I’ve been struggling with improvisation, this is a great explanation and starting point to help me move forward.
