Hello all!

This week's video is all about the diminished 7th arpeggio. It completes my series of lessons looking at the most common four note arpeggios. (Do check out the other videos if you've not already seen them.) This is a great and versatile sound that has more uses than you might imagine. There's a bit of theory, some exercises and plenty of licks. Here's a link to the video:

Most of the things I cover in the video have been tabbed out below. There's a diagram showing how to associate arpeggio fingerings with common chord shapes, some exercises, and some licks.

Hope you find the lesson interesting. Speak next week,

Adrian

Hello Adrian, thank you for this video, which means tons of work ahead again ! ;)

Christophe

Any gen about you next "private" course ? As your beginner solo course was great !

Glad you liked the solos course! Yes, I'm actually working on a couple of new courses at the moment. There's a the follow up to the solos course which is aimed at more intermediate players. Still quite a lot of work remaining to be done on this, but hoping for a release in the autumn. And the post-punk course is a bit different. It's going to be song-based and looking the best tracks from 10 or so post-punk guitar players. I'm making good progress on this, so it should be available over the summer.

Christophe

All right, can't wait for that ! Many thanks

Fin

Thanks, this was really useful. Helped me place some of these tones, see how they work in context. Now I've got to get my fingers to play along...
